Price was pissed after his second shootout, then what does he do, two straight shutouts.

No more than any other goaltender.

Luongo on the other hand...

That's a very odd way of spelling Luongo.

You'd be pissed too if you were a goalie and had that happen to you.

got a feeling that the pressure too much for Carey and its getting to him. also would you rather him being the calm and collected self of last year or more like a Roy-esque type this year.
What's wrong with being mad and showing emotions?

I actually think its a good thing.

I'm personnaly glad to see Price upset after losing games, I mean more of our players need to show some emotion, show their competiveness. I can't stand the way Gomez shrugs everything off as if to say "I don't care" He might also be sending a message to his teamates to smarten the **** up.

So am I, he didn't used to show much emotion and I like what I see.

I expect a solid performance on his next outing, he's usually pretty good when he's mad

Well...is there anything you like about the team this year? (Moen? Cole's recent play? Plekanec?).

Price was player of the week...twice or three times already, no? (he's not perfect but he is one of the best goalies in the league and almost every GM will say that, imo, and...he's still very young).

Eller: he's not finishing (I think he will always be more of a passer-first) but he's showing a lot of promise/potential (especially with how he protects the puck...sometimes I find he's too ''stylish'' - fun to watch - out there so maybe his line should aim more for ''dirty'' goals instead of stylish plays...but Eller shows a lot of promise and he already showed a lot of heart/hustle in last year's playoffs).

Subban: gets 24minutes a game...and for a reason (not for the heck of it). We'd be nowhere without Price, Gorges, Subban. Nowhere. Subban has to change it up a bit on the PP (we need him there).

I wouldn't say he's feeling the pressure. In most cases so far it wasn't like there was much more he could have done.

Price has been the best player on the roster all year, I don't think anything is getting to him

Nothing wrong with a little passion in my eyes. Maybe part the reason he is getting a little more fired up over losses this year, is because we have more of them, and less points to fall back on in comparison to last season

If there are only a "handful'" of goalies playing better than him, wouldnt that likely make him one of the elite? If there are 30 starting goalies in the league, and only a handfull are better than Carey, then I think he belongs in the upper echelon

As far as Eller and PK goes, I don't know who thinks they are "the best" but what you are failing to recognize is that they are great for their age. It is the FUTURE of these two players that us Habs fans are banking on paying dividends for us, not the present

While PK may be making more mistakes than last season, he is still ONLY 22 YEARS OLD. to use your "hanfull" reference, there are only a handfull of Dmen in the league, at that age, that plays the kind of minutes that PK plays, and plays a role of importance like PK does

As for Eller, if you can't see the improvement that this, once again 22 YEAR OLD, has made since last season, then sir you havent been paing close enough attention

Price has very quietly become a leader on this team. First on the ice and gives his best effort. Constantly patting guys for good effort and doesn't look at others when a goal is scored. Now his fire and passion is also showing.

He's one of our best players, but not our best player every game. Noticeably improved over October and playing really well of late.

Don't reply to Young Gun, his spelling is terrible, punctuation is all over the place, refuses to spell Eller correctly, pretty obvious he's just on here to troll.

As an outsider (not trolling) who loves to watch the Habs, I am extremely jealous of the jewel you have in net. Try watching the circus we in Long Island have in net. Price is a future goal-tending phenom in this league. His passion is something comforting to see, he wants to win and that is an awesome character trait to have in goalie. I could only wish we had anyone who showed 1 ounce of his passion. Except on the island all we have is sad, passionless players who couldn't carry Price's jock strap (except for JT).

I'm becoming more and more of a habs fan everyday.

I think he is showing emotion, as the players feed off of that emotion and it shows character. He was always being cut up for not showing it, now he is.

Price has been our best player this year and last, the team needs to play to his standards too.
