I dunno, I barely even bother watching the Summer Olympics outside of the opening and closing ceremonies. Nothing interests me. And certainly not basketball.

*shrug* Was speaking entirely in general about the olympics as a whole. It should go without saying that I have absolutely no interest in womens basketball.

Summer olympics are boring. Other than rowing there really isn't anything to get into.

Oh that's right, I got my HDTV right before the 2008 summer Olys and I remember suddenly becoming a fan of volleyball.
I was going to write a big thing about MN sports but maybe I'll turn it into a FRB article. It's getting pretty long now.

I thought I read somewhere that this year their outfits are going to be less skimpy. If they wish, anyway...

Yeah, the change is they will allow them to wear the same shorts that the indoor women's volleyball players wear. It's mainly due to pressure from muslim countries...

Starting to think my idea to get some voodoo witch doctor to perform a de-hexing might have some more merit than just a funny joke...

Every time Jamey Carroll walks, I'm waiting for Jonah Hill's character from Moneyball to pipe in.

Mauer got absolutely screwed in the 8th. Ball four was thrown twice but the ump gifted Adams a full count. Then Mauer makes good contact and Kinsler makes a phenomenal play to get the out.
Perk is getting crushed in the 9th. He's lucky to have 2 outs, both were hard hit balls that managed to go straight to Willingham.

Because management doesn't like to spend 'big' money on pitchers. Get what ya pay for, Twinks.

I get a bad vibe from that organization now. It's like they got their new stadium and now they don't care what kind of a product they put out on the field.
