Price of tickets - I'm heading to Moscow this winter

Just wondering how many rubles it's going to cost me to catch a KHL game while I'm in Moscow for the better part of a month?

Where is the stadium located anyway? I've been to Russia numerous times, but have no idea where the stadium is. Which line would I take on the metro?

I'll be located close to the purple line (Utilisa 1905 Goda), if that helps.

If you are going to see Dynamo, the stop is called Dynamo on the dark green number 2 line. Megasport arena is like right there. It's just one building of the HUGE Dynamo sports facility. If you get a chance, take a look around. So many great athletes from many sports call this place home.

Dynamo usually plays at MSA Luzhniki. It is located at the southwest of Moscow, Red Line. Use either Sportivnaya or Vorobievy Gory station. I would recommend the Vorobievy Gory station though, because it's much more intresting and also has a great sight.


As for the prices, 15 bucks should definately be enough.

http://www.dynamo.ru/tickets/ as you can see there are layouts of two arenas, Dynamo usually plays in the first on. The prices depends on the color of the sector. I would have to say that 20 usd would get you nice seats anything cheaper would be behind the net or more to the side. (keep in mind its fairly old arena, don't expect too much)
From my experience sections C6 and C7 probably much better to watch the game from.

btw you would need Sportivnaya subway station, unless you are looking for a long walk, then as suggested Vorobyevy Gory

Yeah Garl has the right info too. It depends where they are playing. This month they are playing UFA at Luzhniki and Ak Bars at Megasport. Big games are at Megasport and lesser games at Luzhniki. Either way you got directions to both now.

Should I just take 1905 Goda until I get to Okhotny Ryad station on the red line and go southwest for 5 stops? I think that would take me to Sportivnaya? Is Vorobievy Gory station also called Leninskie Gory?

I've been to Moscow a couple times now, but have yet to take in a KHL game.

I'll take some pics and post them when I get back. Not going until after Christmas. I just want to get this stuff figured out now. The metro is confusing sometimes. I remember one night coming from Begovaya on the purple line, trying to get to Mayakovskaya on the green line and ended up in Prospekt Mira on the orange line.

Hopefully I'll have a little better luck this time around.
