DRC is a worse tackler than Samuel, AINEC. Samuel may not have wrapped up, but at least he attempted to hit someone hard. Anyone remember last year when DRC was jogging to attempt to make a tackle as the play went right by him?

I'm fairly certain every player on the team did that at some point last season.

I hope we take Barron with the 15th. Cox is my 2nd priority but we'd probably have to trade up to get him. Kuechly is still my 3rd, though his stock has fallen for me, since he's not a blitz LB. As long as they don't Mamula and take Poe

Probably the first draft ever where i've "needed" my team to pick a player. Need the Rams to get Blackmon.

Jags traded up with the Bucs. Apparently they want Blackmon.

Lol Hollywood. Its a deep draft for WRs to be honest. Not sure who they would take at 6. Do the Rams need a end opposite of Chris Long?

Doesn't matter anyway. Traded down to 14 with the Cowboys. Now have 3 2nd Round Picks.

I'm not worried. Eagles have a great history of developing first round D-line picks. Brandon Graham, Broderick Bunkley, Mike Patterson, Jerome McDougle.... Mike Mamula...

As long as they use him his rookie year.. Reid has a habit of redshirting rookies unless forced to play them.

Cox seemed to be the almost concensus best DT in the draft.

Cox and Dix will be great for a double penetration system.

Corey Simon was a stud, he just fizzled out quickly. Getting 6+ sacks a year from a DT is really good.

Meh, could be worse. I'm happy with the pick though, Cox has a lot of potential and fills a gaping need.

Hoping with one of our seconds we take Brock Osweiler. Could be a stud QB.

I wouldn't spend a 2nd on him. I'd take him if he is available in the 3rd though. They have other needs to address before QB. Hell I'd rather see them take an RB before a QB.

Eh, Right now our backups are Edwards and Kafka. Unless you trust one of them, we need another QB, one with a future. Vick WILL get hurt this season (always does) and we need a QB who can play. I like Kafka but would like a guy with higher upside.

Ya. He could be there in the 3rd, but QB's usually go higher then many think.

EDIT: Thinking about it, maybe the 3rd round is fine.

Excellent pick. The first time that I can remember where the team actually drafted what we really needed/fans wanted. And forget our past DL draft history (idk why Patterson and Simond are included, they are/were plus players.

Cox is gonna be a stud if he stays healthy. And he'll play this year, a lot.

Corey Simon was a very good DT while with the Eagles, he wasn't elite, but he was very capable and his position not a weak spot in the defense. He even got to the Pro Bowl in 2003.

Most people don't know why his production fell off a cliff after those years. Most assume because he had weight issues and was just too lazy to do something about it. But he was battling Polyarthritis, which forced him into early retirement.

Don't understand the fascination with Osweiler outside of his size and arm strength. I was never really impressed with his play. In fact, I think he kinda sucks. But to each his own. I know Kiper loves him.
