I still want them to win as well but this team is so unlikable.
I want them to lose for the sake of getting a higher pick, therefore, I figure they will win the rest of the games to put themselves in the worst position - getting the lowest pick possible for not making the playoffs.
Wait I am so confused, if the Giants lose this the Eagles still actually have a chance? What has to happen if the Giants lose and Eagles win?
The Giants and Cowboys each have to go 1-2 at best in the last three games. The Cowboys already won so they will have to lose to the Eagles next week and the Giants the last week of the season. The Eagles also have to win out.

Giants lose today they have to lose next week @ the Jets, then beat the cowboy's in the last game of the season.
We have to beat the Jet's this week, the Cowboy's next week and the Redskin's the last week
Which obviously means the Cowboy's have to lose the next 2 games
In game analysis I'm perfectly okay with. You need those guys in game for those few that don't normally watch football regularly yet - women, younger viewers - to explain plays often. Mayock doesn't come off to me as having a huge ego like the others you mentioned. Those guys I'm glad aren't in game and I can just turn off if they just get on my nerves too much, which they often do.
When criticizing expert analysis I was strictly talking about what happens after the game and in the halftime show on NFL Network. I have no problem with analysis per se, I like slow mo replays and experts explaining how a play unfolded, because there is happening so much during a play that it is easy to miss a key block or something of that matter. I have no problem with the FOX and CBS halftime-crews. Their bantering can be too much at times but overall it's okay. But why would you sit Michael Irvin and Deion Sanders on the same table? One of them is already too much to bear for long.

This isn't the NBA. You can get a great player at any pick. Look at past drafts. This team has been the laughing stock of the league. Any additional win will dampen that.
Can't agree more. But I'm sorta giving Shady a pass here. It's week 15 and that was his first fumble this season. Dion Lewis on the KR needs to hold onto that, he's mostly a special teamer. Marsh on the punt earlier needed to hear D-Jack call it off too.
If the Lions lose, the Birds are still alive for a WC spot too.
Need the Bears to lose twice, Lions to lose twice, Seahawks to lose twice, and Arizona to lose 2 of last 3 (tied with Cleveland right now.) Plus win last 2.
So we have to have four games all go the Eagles way to get in:
Eagles win in Dallas
Jets win at home vs Giants
Eagles win at home vs Redskins
Giants win at home vs Dallas
And none of those are long shots from happening, but I still wouldn't bet on it all working out. Dallas' defense isn't great and they're not great at home with some close wins, and bad losses. Jets and Giants are both at home, both coming off bad losses and both can be beat. Eagles can very well beat the Redskins at home, although they sometimes play us tough here a la last year. And if Giants lose next week against the Jets they'd probably try everything to spoil the last game against Dallas.
Beating SF and Arizona at home would sure look good right about now...
What the Eagles are doing right now only makes them bigger losers to me. Couldn't be happier about Shady, and it's nice to see Celek have such a monster game.
Also, Juan Castillo might just keep his job. It would be quintessential Eagles.

IMO, the game I bolded above is the weakest link.
The one positive thing is that with two 8-6 teams and three 7-7 teams all fighting for 1 AFC Wildcard spot, it's essentially a playoff game for the Jets (of course, it is for the Giants too).
Remember Eagles @ Cowboys when Garcia was at the helm on Christmas day?
That big goal-line stand!
Him saying "Merry Christmas, Philadelphia" was the highlight of that Eagles season. A repeat performance would be great, but we've got to hope the Jets don't suck first.
I said it before, and I'll say it again, just 1 more win would've be nice. At least the Eagles would control their own destiny then.
