I like Dale Hunter, the coach. Maybe that's just because I live in London and have season's tickets to the Knights and can say that he is a quality coach who gets results. More important, everyone on that bench is going to know and realize that he's the boss. I think that was the problem with Boudreau - players didn't respect him because they didn't think of him as the boss.

Washington has officially become the scary team now with Hunter on board. I have to admit, it's a real good move. I remember when the Flyers were looking for a coach to replace Stevens, Hunter was the guy I wanted in Philadelphia.

His hit on Lafontaine was brutal as well. I think Hunter was quoted as saying he never knew a goal was scored and therefore didnt hear the whistle...ha ha ha right. Lafontaine was just celebrating because he didn't score
Wasn't that Turgeon? Or did he do that multiple times?

This would never happen with Holmgren at the helm. He hates Dale Hunter haha he wanted to take a stick to him when he cheap shot Gord Murphy.

I wonder how Selänne and Koivu will react when he starts yelling and cursing at them.

Wow the Ducks scooped Bruce pretty quickly.
Anyone else happy to not have to see his pugly face as much?

Bruce won't have OV to carry the team to success. He was routinely bailed out by the sheer amount of talent on the Caps...it's going to be hilarious to see what he does with a less talented team.
