Alfie's team is way more balanced. Defense, offense, speed and goaltending.

Anyone else think JR got a (bad) facelift?

Can we just disregard everything he says from now on? He went from an outspoken hockey guy who occasionally had a cutting comment, although the way he would grandstand for it was infringing on a lawsuit from Messier - to a man who gets a facelift.

He didn't have a lisp before, I can tell you that.

24/7 this year opened and closed with shots of what we give for our game, but not JR, he has to look pretty.

Logan Couture won this year's Kesslemobile, and when he was talking to the media after the draft, he said that his phone was exploding with messages from family members asking if they could have the car.

Len Barrie was finally kicked out of his opulent mansion near Victoria.

HSBC Canada, which had mortgages on the 12,500-square-foot house for more than $14-million, finally had to resort to a court order to remove Barrie from the property on Thursday. The bank was supposed to take over the house on Jan. 16 but Barrie and his family were still living there, which prompted the bank to obtain a court order evicting the former co-owner of the NHL’s Tampa Bay Lightning.
Quote:
Barrie is the subject of a criminal investigation by the RCMP’s commercial-crime unit on Vancouver Island as the result of a complaint filed by Sean Burke, a former NHL player. Burke is one of 18 current and former NHL players who lost a total of more than $13-million when Bear Mountain went into bankruptcy.

In addition to numerous civil lawsuits related to Bear Mountain, Barrie is also facing one from The Bellagio, an upscale casino and hotel in Las Vegas. The Bellagio wants $2.2-million in unpaid casino credits, interest and legal fees.

Len Barrie told to leave mansion

Couldn't happen to a nicer guy. Too bad he hamstrung us with the V$ contract and made such bad trades as well as fleecing investors

I wish this hockey season would end.

Just when I think it can't get any worse, it instead goes the path of weird with the whole idea it takes longer than 1.8 seconds for 1.8 seconds to elapse.

Just give us the 30th spot in the standings, just give us the No. 2 pick since the lottery will fail us, and all will be well.

Today was kind to the Lightning. Both Washington and Winnipeg lost in regulation.

This is going to irritate Wings fans:

Quote:
“It will be a fantastic event with two great organizations at a storied venue,” Yzerman said via e-mail. “The perfect location and matchup, this is wonderful for the NHL.

“At this time I don’t plan on participating in the alumni game but hope to watch the Classic on TV.”

Suck it, Detroit. No TB in the Winter Classic, no SFY.
