I hope Greene's injury explains all the errors in the last game.

I think Larsson is due for a day off soon also. I wouldn't be the least bit upset to see him watch the game from the bird's eye and take in everything while getting some needed rest.

Would be nice if Urbom sticks and makes one of the other defencemen (by which I mean Salvador) expendable.

Hmmm Urbom in for Greene? Is Tao not preforming in the A's? Or is Pete looking for another stay at home guy to try and tighten up D.

Taormina needs to improve his D. He has turned over the puck at his own blue line more than once, but the goalies have bailed him out. I think he'll be up at some point.
Urbom is definitely better on his side of the puck than Taormina. Urbom has gotten some tip-ins on his shots and had some good hard shots on net that have been robbed by opposing goaltenders.
And as mentioned Urbom is the +/- leader in Albany.

Tom Gulitti
DeBoer and Urbom both said they didn't know if Urbom would make the trip with the team Tuesday.

And Urbom has the skill to pinch in off the point if need be. I doubt he plays, if Greene is good to go, he probably goes right back to Albany, or Lowell, or Kuala Lampur, or France.

Who is being sent down. With Boulton coming back too, I think we're at 24.

Urbom is definitely fearless when it comes to pinching. I just hope it doesn't burn us more than it already does.

Yeah, I mean, what's not to like about a 6'3 guy who does this:
VIDEO
has the ability to hit, and is 21 years old.
What a bum!

Most of them under MacLean, which we've all agreed to toss out, because they don't reflect accurately on the talent of the players.
Urbom has potential. Like Henrique, he looked good in his one game call up at the end of last season. He also impressed somewhat in training camp. He's getting his chance now.

Scratch Larsson while he is on a point streak? I'd rather scratch Sal who can't do anything. Urbom deserves atleast one NHL game. He still has a lot of potential.

From what I can tell, having anyone but Fayne with Tallinder is suicide

I used to think Tallinder was necessary to carry Fayne, but I'm not exactly sure who's doing the carrying on the pairing anymore.

Latest thing I saw is that they just don't know. Speculation is that it depends on how Greene feels, I assume, before they leave.

A Finn disliking a Swede. How surprising.
And what exactly do you dislike about him? Unless you can judge players on a sample size of 8 games....
