With Grabovski Back...

We've got too many centers. Its obvious Grabo isnt staying on the 4th line, so someone needs to go down. Do we keep Crabb or Colborne up? Id like to keep Colborne up, thats no discredit to Crabb, but lets face it, Colborne is the one that needs the experience, not Crabb. Colborne has proven he can play with the big boys, and succeed as well. I mean, Crabb has been good too, but Colborne is the guy Id prefer to rely on for offence. What do you think?

Colborne should go. Let him dominate the AHL.

Crabb is our best penalty killer and can chip in a few goals here and there. He's more valuable to the team at this point.

You get rid of Orr and Rosehill, and roll 4 lines.

If Crabb gets sent down I'm going to do one of these.

He's an NHL player and deserves to be here. What more does he need to do? Colborne has been decent, he'll get his time. Right now I feel it's Crabb's time to be here, and stay here.

that

Most people don't realize that Wilson has been using his 4th line as much as the 2nd and 3rd. 10+ minutes a night is good enough for Colborne/Crabb.

And then with Armstrong eventually coming back..

Colborne won't play wing, and I highly doubt Bozak will get demoted. Colborne will probably get sent down and Grabo to the third line C.

Not a bad problem to have.

What's wrong with Grabo feeding Phillipe "Snipeshow" Dupuis?

I don't even know here folks, at the end of the day, perhaps its good to let Colborne dominate the AHL for a little longer. I would rather roll 4 lines though then worry about Rosehill and Orr though.

I disagree.

Let Grabo get his feet back on 4th line, and generate potential scoring chances. Some of his passes have been amazing.

When Lombardi is ready to be back, you send Colborne down to dominate the AHL, and you put M. Lo as 4th line centre, and Grabo as 3rd for a bit.

By then, T.Bo may not have his feel anymore, or Connolly may be hurt. May be a no issue situation.

So we're hoping our players to slump or get hurt now?

Maybe we should try Grabo on the wing with Colborne and Crabb. That would make that line really dangerous IMO

Gotta think about Steckel coming back at some point too. Perhaps, Colborne goes down until the trade deadline or another injury.

is Grabo trade bait at the deadline? Hard to say.

I'd easily keep Crabb rather then Colborne.

I'd like to see Frattin go down, Grabo to take over the wing with Colborne and Crabb

Lupul - Bozak - Kessel
MacArthur - Connolly - Kulemin
Colborne - Grabovski - Crabb
Rosehill - Dupuis - Frattin

Is how I would have it for the time being.

Rosehill and Orr rarely play in the same game. So the problem comes whenever Steckel comes back.

Colborne though seems to get better every game and I wouldn't be so quick to demote him yet.

Bozak has been scoring lately but he still isnt half the player Grabovski is. I'd sooner have Bozak on the third line than Grabo. Everything Bozak does, Grabo does a bit (or a lot) better. Skating, defensive awareness, finishing, creativity, playmaking, puck handling....

It's an interesting problem, but how do we send Colborne down when he is getting better with each shift, not even game. It might actually hurt his progress if he is demoted with the way he has played on this road trip. The only option is Grabo on the wing with Crabb or Frattin. I would buy myself time while Grabo gets back into game shape, play him on the 4th line, they actually had a good game. The beauty of this team is you are getting competition up on the big team and on the farm with Kadri playing well also.
