I don't think bringing in Boudreau is a good idea but losing in the playoffs really wasn't his fault ethier imo. you don't win stanley cups with your leader/star player is a winger, just doesn't happen hasn't in the last 20-25 years. you win with strength down the middle, great goaltending or great Defense. Washington lost 7 or 6 in a row last year and still won the east so I would expect them to still finish in the top 3 spots and win there division, and that would have happened with or without Boudreau, and then an early round exit again. this team is not built for the playoffs and until that changes the team is going no where, and if that isn't changed Mcfee should be the one losing his job.
At this point Wilson's winning, so I see no reason to change our coaching staff. I really don't think Boudreau was the (only) problem in Washington, he just ended up taking the fall.
