Their will be alot of better players then Kost. Most of em have at least 2 years north american hockey experience. Spezza should be amongst the top 3 leaders next year.

Did they? I thought he was just being assigned for a conditioning stint that he'll extend personally... If he was on a 2-way contract, I'm sure someone would pick him up on waivers and put him on their farm team...

I am pretty sure a 2 way contract only means you get paid a lot less if you are in the AHL compared to what you make in the NHL. It has nothing to do with waivers eligibility like it does in EHM. The NHL waiver rules have everything to do about pro experience, games played in the NHL, etc You can have a 2 way contract and be playing in the NHL, but if the team sends you down, you must go on waivers (see Ribeiro last season).

Sens are sending Hasek down on a 2 week conditioning stint from what I have heard...

Singning Hasek was one of the worst move made by the Senators... After the lock out, he will be 50-something and Lalime will still be a no. 1 goalie!!

Actually, Hasek can play the entire season in the AHL, as long as he agrees to it. He will get his NHL salary though. It was his idea to go there. The two weeks is the longest a team can send a player, after that the player must agree to be there.
