Don't know if that was Erat or Spaling that pulled up with the puck right outside our blue line and lost it, but I HATE seeing that. Why do we get cute with the puck and stop it or try to spin with it at our blue line? SKATE THE FREAKING PUCK TO CENTER! No idea why our guys are standing still and don't have their legs moving heading into the neutral zone.
Only a matter of time until we take a penalty and they get one by Lindback. Followed by one or two more, then maybe a throw away goal midway thru the 3rd by Halischuk or something.

Boy I am sure glad we drafted Pickard instead of Eberle, I was screaming bloody murder when we drafted pickard. Still upset about the pickard pick, will pretty much always be upset about the pickard pick.
I guess my question about Smith is regarding the fact that he's leading the team in points, so he must have been playing really poorly lately in order to get demoted to the third line?
I don't understand we had a winning streak and Smith and Wilson and Hornqvist were playing well and then Fisher and Erat was starting to click and then Trotz moves Smith off the main line and puts in Legwand and we've been reeling ever since
Toots can't handle Honey Badger's passes. Leggy not even LOOKING at a golden scoring op. Sergei continues his wonderful Jason Arnott imitation. Glad it's only a 1 goal difference.

I know! I was totally expecting Leggy to spin for a shot, get his stick caught in his own skate, fall, and knock the goal off it's pegs. That's about par for the course.

Would rather be winning now with Eberle than wait four years for Pickard to find himself. Again, I never believed in Pickard from day one. I was critical of the pick then, and I am still critical of it today.
And yeah Smith's benching all started when he missed that empty net.
