If Leggy collects the rebound cleanly he has a great scoring chance. He didn't get it clean ... and a spin and turn had to get past Smid and Khabibulin ... low percentage chance.

Weber and Suter haven't looked inspired the past few games, nothing new here.

Nobody is willing to drive into the slot either. Everything is going wide or behind the net where the goalie can angle it off.

In case you can't tell that was total sarcasm regarding Pikard. Probably Poile's worst draft pick among several head scratchers.

Plus, how many teams are pissed that their GM passed on Rinne and Weber.

Or ALL the teams that passed on Zetterberg over, and over and over! ( 209 times to be exact!) There are a million of these examples!

Trotz is kinda a dumb ass when it comes to lines.

Hornqvist isnt a top 6 player. He just isnt.

Wilson-Legwand-Smith
Kostitsyn-Fisher-Erat
Halischuk-Spaling-Hornqvist
Tootoo-Smithson-Geoffrion

BAM!!

hornqvist is more of a top six than Legwand is at the moment.

That little symbol next to my post is the sarcasm. I thought I was laying it on pretty thick.

We don't have that many top 6 players ...Hornqvist has 30 goals and 20 goals back to back that is the best we can do top 6

Am I dreaming, or didn't he at one point put Tootoo on Foppa's line?

BUt he cant create offense on his own. No matter who you put him with as long as they put shots on net he will be just as streaky as he would on the first 2 lines. He thrives on the PP keep him there, not the top 6.

What happened to Lindy? Why is Rinne in the net?

Why does it feel like we have more shots from behind the goal line, than infront of it.

Almost better utilized on a line with the likes of Tootoo or Smith, who will shoot the puck from wherever, giving him a chance to knock in a rebound. He might lack the pace for that line though.

If Klein makes the identical play to Weber,we get a new thread saying how bad he sucks. When it's Weber, the silence is deafening.

A great example of a goal scorer Eberle score and Smithson fails

We just can't get out of our own way. No reason for SK to take that.
