Seems such a waste to pass it back to Fistric so much when you have Larsen on the other side.

Can't have more than 2 or 3 legitimate shots on goal.
Puck possession is rough.

Late to the party but how about Nystrom!

PP is looking rough. Peterson experiment needs to end badly. Let Larsen and Riberio do the entries ffs. Nothing wrong with a PP QB, worked fine for us in the Brad era.

Chippy defensive game. Just the type of road game we want to play. Good to be up going into the 2nd period.

I think it's time to give Nystrom some PP time, no?

I think Nystrom's earning a permanent placement in a top-six role this year.

Why split up the 3rd line though? They have been amazing together. I say the whole line should just get more ice time.

Good first period!! Keep it up Stars!

I think Nystrom's perfect where he his. The 3rd line has great chemistry and he's getting goals because he's being matched against lesser defensive pairings and matchups. No point throwing him on the top 6 where he'll get shutdown more. Don't mess with what's working either.

I agree load up the 1st unit. Last PP the Peterson-Larsen unit was on the ice for about 1:30 b/c of the way the clears worked. If you're going to risk **** like that might as well just load up a top unit and let them play 1:30-1:40. Also designate a clear person to carry the puck into the zone and set up, instead of this mismash of "whoever gets it get it in." Not every player is equal, so don't treat it like so. Peterson needs off the point ASAP.

Hey guys. I have been lurking on these boards for a year or two and I decided to stop being lazy and register. I was stars_fan09 on the old andrews boards.

And quickly...I have been wondering why petersen has been playing on the PP. Did I miss something? Does he secretly have a bomb for a shot? He's not awful, he's a decent skater but nothing about his play makes me think, hey that guy should get some PP time.

Petersen on the PP is looking more and more like a massive blunder (surprise surprise).
