AUSTRIAN TIME: Grabner vs. Vanek or Isles @ Sabres, 2011/11/29 7:00 PM ET

Lets Talk about Austria:
All you know about us is Josef Fritzl, the guy who has locked his own family in his house and has ****ed them or Franz Fuchs, the guy with the letter bombs? At least you schould knowNatascha Kampusch, who lived in a small chellar for more than 7 years.....

Or have you heard about our priests who are into child porn?

Well, lets learn something else from Wikipedia about Austria: >> LINK <<

A few Impressions (I live in Tyrol):

Anthem:

Most of us dislike Germany.
Here is probably the most glorious win of Austria vs. Germany in sports history. You have to switch the sound on, Edi Finger freaks out on that goal:

So lets start about talking Hockey:

Grabner:

VERSUS

Vanek:

Here ist the projected lineup:

Vanek-Hecht-Pominville
Gerbe-Roy-Kassian
Leino-Adam-Stafford
Ellis-Gaustad-Kaleta

Regher-McNabb
Ehrhoff-Gragnani
Leopold-Sekera

Enroth
MacIntyre

VS

Moulson-Tavares-Parenteau
Grabner-Nielsen-Okposo
Ullstrom-Bailey-Niederreiter
Martin-Rolston-Haley

Streit-Staios
MacDonald-Hamonic
Mottau-Jurcina

Montoya
DiPietro

Well that's it, I hope you like my first GDT of the year.

LETS GO BUFFALO

It seems like every time I watch Buffalo play the Isles, Buffalo loses. I have hockey tomorrow night, so I won't be able to watch. That means the Sabres should win!

Any word on the starting goaltenders? I'm wondering if Enroth will get a rest tonight.

I'm 2-2 on the season, attending my fifth game tonight and hoping for some effort.

Edit - I wonder if Nodl winds up in this game too. Isles could use him.

Sounds like Miller *could* be close to being back (maybe next week), so probably not.

Sabres against the Isles...yeah, I'm sensing let down game after Saturday's nice win. Hopefully the guys show up tonight. Need Gerbe, Goose, Kaleta, Kassian, McNabb, and Regehr to set the tone physically.

Yep, he can rest then. But Ruff has been a bit different with his schedule, so anything is possible.

Depending on your pronunciation/definition of "some" - we are in a sad state of affairs.

The Isles have had Miller's number, so I'm kind of glad he won't be in the lineup tonight. I'd fear a letdown game, but I think the young guys want to show they belong and I'm not concerned about the effort level of the returnees--as an aside, IIRC, Stafford was awesome last year in games after he returned from injury. The Isles are a mess right now, too. I think we see an average performance out of Buffalo, but that'll be enough...for tonight, anyways. Sabres, 4-3.

Moulson
Nielsen
Parenteau

Stafford
Vanek
Adam
Gerbe

BUFFALO GO??

Some as in enough to get a win. Not the Somme. Granted, with the injuries, there is always the parrallel to battle... but I'm not going there.

Correct me if I'm wrong... but isn't this the first matchup of Kassian vs. Tavares since BZK levelled Johnny-boy in the prospects game?

I was at the game last year where Grabner lit them up for three and Montoya got his first win. Eep.
