Mine, not yours.

You may be correct. I don't think the Gens and Knights played after that, then JT went 1st and on to the Isles.

The last two wins, I have missed the first 10 minutes of the first period. The other games in that time span where I saw them from the start, we lost. Today I will see it from the start. Ruh roh.

My best hockey friend is a HUGE Islanders fan. We have watched every Sabres-Isles game together for the last 4 years. (We host the home game at our respective houses) For 3 years straight they split the series 2-2 which was great fun but last year we were humiliated. The other has to take a shot every time the other team scores and 2 if they score a 5th goal. I was loaded from that game and it was not a happy drunk.

BUFFALO GO!

A time for glory
Tonight Niagara First
Tomorrow we rest

Goodness gracious if they come out flat and play an incomplete game then this team is in major trouble.

Yea I was at that game too, the 7-6 OT loss right ? My GF took me to that for my birthday LOL. I recall that because we walked out of there thinking if we were bad luck, we had gone to an earlier game where we also lost in OT to Nashville...

We're still gonna try to go, but man another OT loss while we're in attendance... and I may just stay home...

According to the Sabres.com pregame preview, Mcnabb will be skating with Regehr.

That pairing should be fun to watch.

No kangaroo's in Austria lol.

I predict a big game from Stafford. The way he was driving to the net in the last game made him look like a real power forward.

I will be wearing my Vanek jersey tonight and when I do they seem to win about 70% of the time.

Well, lets learn something else from Wikipedia about Austria: >> LINK <<

A few Impressions (I live in Tyrol):

Hmmm ..... I was hoping for the Red Light District Videos ..

Anthem:

Most of us dislike Germany.
Here is probably the most glorious win of Austria vs. Germany in sports history. You have to switch the sound on, Edi Finger freaks out on that goal:

So lets start about talking Hockey:

Grabner:

Vanek:

Here ist the projected lineup:

Vanek-Hecht-Pominville
Gerbe-Roy-Kassian
Leino-Adam-Stafford
Ellis-Gaustad-Kaleta

Regher-McNabb
Ehrhoff-Gragnani
Leopold-Sekera

Enroth

VS

Moulson-Tavares-Parenteau
Grabner-Nielsen-Okposo
Ullstrom-Bailey-Niederreiter
Martin-Rolston-Haley

Streit-Staios

Austria? Hmmh every time an Austrian tells my about their long history and doesn't get tired of pointing out the characteristics of the Austrian identity and that Austria has nothing to do with Germany or German history at all, this plays in my head:

Btw: I've got some Austrian friends (even the son of my cousin was born in Austria), so I do know that Austrians get angry rather easily.

I predict a 3-2 Sabres win. I've got Montoya starting for my fantasy team tonight, so please Sabres, don't ruin my week on Tuesday.
