Brad Mills
TSNBobMcKenzie Bob McKenzie
Joakim Lindstrom (COL) and Brad Mills (NJD) on waivers . FLA's Mark Cullen clears re-entry waivers. And, of course, CAR claims Nodl from PHI.

Well, that was unexpected. I thought Mills had been pretty good for us, in his role. I doubt he'll be claimed, so it's probably back to Albany for him tomorrow.

I feel like Mills, Palmieri, Zharkov, and Sestito are all better than Pelley.

I feel like we waive people just to appear on the transaction sheet for the day sometimes

I hear ya. I don't think Mills has been that bad. It's easy to see faults on every teams 4th line. This was probably to make room for Boulton returning.

I'd say we'd see him back, but with Zajac hopefully back in the lineup in the next 2-3 weeks, we might not have to!

think about it this way...when Zajac is back we dont really need him to play center anymore, so maybe they dont think he'd be a good winger

this is just clearing room for Boulton's return and then Zajac. 4th line gets what - 6 minutes?

I guess they want Pelley to play. No idea why Sestito is in over Mills though.

Oh, I thought he was sent down yesterday. Maybe I just dreamed that happened.

I think TG just speculated that because he was removed from the Devils roster online.

Maybe he was. TG doesn't seem to be sure.

I like Brad Mills and thought he's been playing well in his role. Hopefully we'll see him back soon.

That's a possibility, but then we're right back at the roster limit, and need to make another move.

I'm ok with this. Mills and Pelley are basically the same player at the minutes they get and Pelly has more experience. I also think he is faster and is better on the PK. I actually like the way Pelley plays when he has some fire
