Nice, the question now is which players will be announced.

The Candidates
Pierre Hedin
Anders Eriksson
Peter Forsberg
Markus Näslund
Daniel Sedin
Henrik Sedin
Mattias Weinhandl
Niklas Sundström

Me thinks all the forwards and perhaps Eriksson.

It seems like Anders will not be announced tomorrow since he is schedule to play for Toronto against Detroit this evening. This also means that atleast one of Hedman/Viklund will stay with the SEL team the entire season

If I could choose I would sign Hedin and release Jansson.

Ah, the Sedins and Weinhandl and Forsberg will play in the first game it seems. Susse & Näslund still isn't cleared to play though.

to sum it up

Peter Forsberg
Pierre Hedin
Henrik Sedin
Daniel Sedin
Mattias Weinhandl

have signed and will all most likely play on Tuesday

MODO have yet to solve some minor things with Niklas Sundström and Markus Näslund.. but it is safe to say that they will play for MODO as well.

So we'll include Näslund and Sundström in the Fantasy Draft too, right?

I can't wait until Naslund-Forsberg-Sundstrum and Sedin-Sedin-Weinhandl are tearing it up. Probably the two best lines in the whole SEL.

I thought each team could only sign a couple of nhl players.Obviously that's not the case.

They had that restriction during the '94 lockout, but this time there are no restrictions as to how many the teams are allowed to sign.

First hockeyligan voted 8-4 in favor for no NHLers during the lockout. Then MODO decided to bring in Forsberg against Västerås IK in a game where Västerås played with Salo, Popovic and Lidström. Västerås was as far as I can recall the only team that brought in more then one player during that lockout.

Frölunda had 2 during the 94 lockout
They tried to fool hockeyligan by saying that Patrik Carnbäck would stay for the whole season (Micke Andersson was the second lockout player), which he did not do. The same thing with Västerås really, as they also "promised" that Popovic and Juhlin will play for the whole SEL season.
