If Erat/Hall sign contracts with European teams with an out clause, can they still be signed by Nashville if the lockout ends? I don't know what the procedure is there. Assuming no hall/erat and assuming Denis wants to come back...
I feel like I'm forgetting someone. Of course, it seems like I remember reading that Sully could be a candidate for center, so that would change things. Can't remember if that was Trotz or some fan's pipe dream. Pivko, Segal, and Gamache could certainly be in there i/o Fiddler, Upshall, and Shish or even Stevenson/Big Mac if they chose to use the youngsters for finesse teams and bring in the bruisers for the Columbus' and Calgarys of the world. It depends on their "camps" and the start of the milwaukee season.
Don't know the handedness of the d-men so this might be way off, but how about
Allison - healthy scratch and marginally talented night club act.
Anyone think any of the young d-man are going to scratch the starting lineup (assuming no injuries)? Or do you think they'll want Hutchinson, Suter, Klein, Weber, Safronov, and Mukhachev to develop some chemistry together for a full season in the land of cheese?
#I'd personally rather see him in Milwaukee, but I'm not sure it'll happen.
Looking at this, we really need both Hall and Erat. Hall can play center on the second line while Erat can play Wing. Upshall and Gamache can either get bumped down or moved back to Milwaukee. I'd rather see Gamache be given some sort of shot in Nashville, but I'm not holding my breath.

Yeah, it's not ideal. But neither is Zids or Hnidy or Allison or Suter or Klein or Mukhachev. We have three top 4's but not four. Lilja saw 20 minutes a night in Florida so he can handle it. He might not be great, but we are solid enough as a team to pick up the slack.
