When was the last King to improve in successive years? He seems to learn alot every year and works on the areas he's weak in. If only we had an offensive minded coach along with a PP coach that actually knows what he's doing, Quick would probably be number 1 in the win column. How many possible games can Quick win 1-0, 2-0?

ask richards. He'll tell you its kopi, and then quick is on his heels. I'd say they are equally important.
Nothing against Richards, surprised we don't have a Richards appreciation thread.

When Kopitar was the one that was giving Quick the offense the team needed.....i'd say both helped each other out, thus both being equally important.

Just a few years ago I felt like the Kings would never have even an average goaltender and you could never ever hope for the goalie to steal games on his own. A top 10 goalie is a dream coming true, Quick has really stepped up to prove his doubters wrong and I'm counting on him to do the same in the playoffs too.

Quick has stolen some points this year and his good play makes it hard for TM to start Bernier.

It's time the Kings offense helps out Quick once in a while - when they're down by a goal late and pull Quick, they need to actually SCORE to give Quick a shot at the win in OT or SO.

Over a year with no goalie-pulled-goals-scored-to-tie-the-game?!? How is that even possible? You'd think you would luck out with a deflection once in a while at least.

Haven't watched him much until these playoff serious. Quickly becoming a big fan even though he wiped off my team. When the plays in LAs end I find myself watching what hes doing instead of how the plays developing. Hes just so acrobatic and focused, I love it.

So happy this man plays for our team. Love his back story, how he saw he needed improvement physically and worked hard to be where he is. I think that determination and will is why we see him succeed in the net. He has a great team player attitude, which may have been hard at points this year. We are truly lucky to have him in a Kings uniform.

Looking forward to seeing him set many more records in black and white.

BIG fan of the guy!! Do you have any links to his back-story though? I'd like to read it. Anyone have any info on how he is personally? I.e. good with fans, will stop for autographs, ect.

Quick is Spidey!

Doesn't Quick remind you of Peter Parker with his boyish face?
Quick the Spidey. The ways he gets down low tracking the puck with his arms and legs spreading out covering the net with traffic in front of him.

You know TSN showed that video of his last save at the end of the game.

In his scouting report, the scout mentioned that. Called it the Low crouch, Maybe (CNS) that Goalie guy can chime in, tell us why Quick does that.

He does look like Spider man.

Quick is also Very Explosive from that Crouch. Ranford say's Quick has legs like Tree Trunks(very powerful legs).

Actually Kevin Weekes on NHL Tonight called it QUICK's "CRAB" style ...

seeing if I can find a video link of it ... because it was a perfect analogy accompanied with the in game video
