Proposal: Buffalo-Detroit

The two rarely overlap, which is why so few trades happen at the NHL level.

Vanek being the obvious first choice, but after that I would want Luke Adam from Buffalo for maybe a prospect or something. He is going to be good.

C/W- Henrik Zetterberg
G-Jimmy Howard

To Detroit:

C-Derek Roy
G-Ryan Miller

Zetterberg is more proven than Roy is even though I do agree that his back problems could come back to haunt him later in his career. Howard is currently playing better than Miller is and I wouldn't want a $6M+ goaltender in DET. If Darcy Regier even called Ken Holland and proposed this trade there would be a dial tone on the other end of the phone pretty quickly.
