Looks like Bourque, Blake, Sakic, Forsberg, Hejduk, Foote, Tanguay, Drury and Roy will be scratched for the game. Jesus, how did we even take these guys to 7? That Devils team was soo good and it would have been another win if Nieds was even close to 100%
Anyway, I'm excited to see Landeskog. Hes enjoying a pretty good rookie campaign, as is Larsson. Should be a good one
You could just as easily say that if Sakic had been even close to 100% (he was playing with a bad shoulder that made him miss games earlier in the playoffs) and had Forsberg that it doesn't even get to 7.
Anyway, Devils should win this one pretty easily. And hopefully by a lot so changes are made at the coaching level of the Avs...
In 2001, I was offered $1,100 cash for each ticket (I had two) in Section 226 for Game 6 SCFs. I should have known better that the Cup was all for Ray Bourque and should have sold the tickets to the guy in the parking lot.
$2200 for a hockey game.. now that is.. wow. Dont know what i wouldve done.

Hopefully they will. And hopefully changes will be made, I have a lot of friends amongst Avs fans so I know what you`re going through. Best of luck to you as well.

**** Bourque. I remember being 10 years old in 01 and having to listen to the last 2 minutes of game 7 on the radio. I was in tears for sure. It was my first taste of failure as a Devils fan.

See, I never understood why Roy won that Conn Smythe. That was Sakic 110%
Well here's my bold prediction: Zach and Kovy suck it up. The geezer line looks good. Marty goes off. The PP blows, the PK is great and we score a shortie. Followed by a tight and ****** third period with tons of blown assignments in our own zone. Not sure if they win or lose lol, potentially followed by another board meltdown depending on the win or lose thing.

I agree completely. He had to carry the team's offense while injured after Forsberg went down.
Roy had a very good playoff year though (I seem to recall the COL/LA series basically being a goaltending duel with multiple OT games), but to me, it seems he won the Smythe almost completely based on his SCF Game 6 performance, despite blowing a game or two earlier in the series.
F Ray Bourque - how can anyone be glad he won it as a sellout?
Cya Broons - I'm gonna go coast to a cup with someone else kthxbai.
Bruins actually chose sending him to Colorado because it would give him the best chance to win. He also wasn't a rental. He didn't win in his first season there, he played a full season to win*
Left wing Eric Boulton (non-displaced fracture in right hand) is expected to be activated from injured reserve today and play tonight for the first time since Oct. 21 against San Jose.
It looks like defenseman Andy Greene (undisclosed injury) won’t play tonight. Mark Fraser will play in his place.
