I hate it.

That's why I delete that kind of comment when somebody decides to do it in one of my videos. I mean, what's the point? Being cool?

So I'm listening to the new Blink-182 album, and it's actually decent, Barker can come up with some cool Drum patterns.

One track he accents the and of 4 and the and of 1, which was pretty cool.

Yeah, I thought it was a pretty solid album. And Barker is just amazing

In any forums I moderated in the past, "1st post" was an instant deleted post when I saw it, unless the whole thread was some kind of total nonsense to begin with.

Here tho, I dunno, kind of feels like a celebration of starting another thread.

So, I lost my job today, as did some others. Well, we had a choice, but the nature of the job would've been significantly different, so we refused. Time to find a new job.

Thankfully, I will still get a full wage in 2 weeks in addition to the one I received today. Yay.

First, I will get myself a 32" LCD-TV to go with Skyrim that I bought today.

^ Ha.

On a different note, considering how many shows I always have to catch up on the next day after they air, it's getting a bit crazy how much better TV programming is than what the film industry is putting out. There hasn't been a very well done movie in a long time and certainly not several. Especially of late as most if not all have been utter crap.

Love the thread title.

Say what you will, the first 20-30 seconds of the T Quick video is excellent. Mute it.

Pulp Fiction is a great movie, didn't like it the first time I watched it, probably too young. Same thing with Big Lebowski...saw it in theaters and thought it sucked but I was what, 14? Saw it again this year and it RULED.

Caddyshack has some great lines but after ~5 watches I can't do it anymore. Same thing with Airplaine. REQUIRED watching, but gets old quick. Right up there is The Jerk with Steve Martin. Required watching. Other excellent 70s/80s comedies:

- Blazing Saddles, History of the World, Young Frankenstein, etc
- Life of Brian, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, etc
- Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, Stripes, etc
- Coming to America, Trading Places
- Naked Gun
- Spaceballs

Now name recent movies that will live on like those will...

TV is owning the film industry right now in my mind.

Actually lots, I just cut out the 90's and 2000's because my post was going on forever.

Old School, Anchorman, 40 YO Virgin, Superbad, Hangover, Wedding Crashers, Starsky & Hutch, all pretty great movies. Probably more I'm forgetting and a lot I haven't seen.

Also, got pulled over in the HOV lane yesterday. Apparently if you have a kid in the backseat, you're supposed to roll the window down and wave at the officer? Seems weird.

Try some Vitamin D. Any time I have a sore throat or cough I take 10,000-20,000 IU per day until it's gone. Haven't been sick in many months.

I've been saying for a while that Anchorman is this generation's Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Maybe not for quality or style of humor, but for sheer quotability.
