And it was all looking so good...

I checked my steam account. My only game on there is Civilization 3, and that worked perfectly fine. Does steam have any type of program that can test my computer to see what it can/can't run?

I remember a website that could do it, but apparently it had a ton of viruses and was a bad website in general.

I've never had any trouble with that site.

Pretty pumped, got a full lifting setup last night for dirt cheap off CL. Squat rack, bench, barbell trees, all olympic size, plus an olympic bar and a bunch of weights, and a bunch of other goofy crap I don't need (preacher bench, leg extension crap, etc). Can finally give Rippetoe an honest try. And maybe be not so fat.

Saw sprinklers going this afternoon on my ride home. It's almost outdoor hockey season!

I can't wait... I have such a hard time exercising, but love everything about skating.

I wish I enjoyed any sort of exercise more, because I literally get fat in the summer, and then end up trimming back down in the winter.

Completely forgot about outdoor ice. Sweet! Too much going on in my head.

I hate exercise, which is why I started playing hockey. Lifting is good but I haven't had a gym or weights in over 5 years. That's around when I started hockey, and that kept my weight fairly flat until this past year.

Alright, so I'm watching Pirahna right now and it is much better than what I remember from watching it the first time. It is so gruesome and so cheesy but funny and awesome at the same time. Plus, there are a bunch of very scantily clad dames in distress with big...eyes .

If you want to watch an entertaining movie with your friends(only guys, mind you. Girls might be offended by the nudity, of which there is a lot), I recommend it. It's worth a rent, at least.

Ugh, Mayhem Miller got destroyed. Terrible terrible cardio.

That fight before it though, the arm bar...amazing turn around. Very good match.

I don't suppose anyone with tickets to the Wild/Hawks game in a few weeks wants to sell two tickets?

Ticketmaster has horrible selection and Stubhub has terribly inflated prices.

Just realized I can get a student discount...awesome.

If I order it online, I don't have to have my college ID, do I? I'm not starting until January, so I don't have my ID yet. But I can order them online and if I'm reading it right, they email the tickets to me? Has anyone done this before, is that how it works?

I second the motion.

I am so sick of all the holiday commercials its not even funny.

But oh god, next year is an election year. THAT is going to be really annoying until next Novemeber. And then right after that is the 2012 Xmas season.

**** it, lets give 2012 a miss all together and skip straight to 2013.

That would still be giving it away in the end if the world were to come to an end right around then. You'd be wishing you stole some time instead by going BACK in time instead of forward.

Need to watch it but have to think the 15 month layoff hurt.

EDIT: Watching the replay - Mayhem not having a crazy entrance is just wrong.

Hahah. I just noticed that there isn't a single trade proposal thread on the trade forums first page that doesn't involve a canadian team. Seriously whats the point if its just circle jerk of hopeless canadians cos their teams suck?

I didn't see it either. I didn't get to see Cotto whoop up on Margarito as well...

Good news, though. 1.5 weeks of finals/papers and then only one more year of grad school left. I will be in MN in December, too, so I look forward to be able to play some boot and get some skating in...
