I didn't know you could do that, play professionally in a league other than the NHL, and then go back to juniors. If it's an option for him, it certainly wouldn't be the worst choice for his development.

Coyle is heading to Saint John? Like they needed any help.

After losing Trivino and Coyle, BU has to be panicking big time. Good news for UNH .

That's a good night for Boucher. I hope it ignites him on another hot streak.

Some Reid Boucher goals.

00:12 Boucher slapshot from the point.

Right at the start Boucher ignites the teddy bear toss.

Nice cross ice pass from Boucher that leads to a goal. Beginning of the clip.

US & Canadian games will be on NHL network, TSN is showing all i believe if nothing else a stream. they said it will not be regionalized, but not sure that means they will open it up to US residents.

US lost 6-3 in the scrimmage. Merrill was running the PP. Some blogs noted that the PP looked pretty good.

Maxim Noreau is doing well in the National League A in Switzerland. If he came back to North American next year, would he be a free agent? What if he came back before the NHL Regular Season ended, or the playoffs? Would he have to pass through waivers?

What number did you get for him? I'll pass it along to Lou so he knows.

Assuming Lou sent him an offer in the summer we still have his rights

Probably not the toughest competition, but nothing like a nice blowout win to build some confidence.

Lots of talk about Wedgewood potentially being the go-to guy for Canada in the nets after Visentin's struggles in the game against Sweden last night, or at least having the two split the round robin games. I for one have never been sold on Visentin. This type of tournament is exactly where a guy like Wedgewood could take the reins and show his clutch, big game capability.
