Flex Question

I currently am using a 77 flex Total One shaft cut down to about an 82-84 flex. I used to use an 87 flex One95 shaft cut down to about 90-92 but I recently changed curves from the p92 to the p91a which prompted me to switch shafts as well as I re-adjusted to the open wedge.

With the 77 flex, my wrist shots are easier but my slapshots have lost some juice. I just really began practicing snappers and they seem fairly decent.

My question is, if I switch back to the 87 flex, how will the snappers fair if I continue working on technique? I'd like to have my slapshot back as I enjoy using it but also like the newly added snap shot.

I'm about 6'2", 200 lbs. and mainly play forward with some time spent at defense so having all three shots would really benefit me the most.

I'm 6'2 185 and I use a 110 flex S19 with the Sakic/Hall curve. Honestly, my snap shot is just as good with a 85 flex as it is with my 110. My slapper is probably 2x harder, all personal preference though.

I can only say that I consolidated my wrister and snapper into one shot and focused on quick release rather than loading the stick. That made my shot harder and quicker with a stiffer flex, which also benefits the slapper.

But that's just me, not for everyone.

In theory if you can deflect the 87 flex as well as the 77 (and you should be able to at your height assuming it's not cut down to your abs or something ridiculous) go with that.
