what is ryan's cap hit? because we don't exactly have that much room to work with, so salary will have to go back.

Have to disagree. His passes are as good as they get. If he plays the way he has for the past 15 games (in which he's been a point per game player), consistently (over a full season), he ends up with 82 points. You denying that consistency is what separates him is just incorrect. I don't know how you can even debate that. It's math.

OMG PLEASE GET HIM!

I will not know what to do, definitely one of my favorite non-Ranger players.

Definitely will be donning that jersey.

5.1Mil I believe, Dubinsky would have to go the other way

Kreider at just over a million is very valuable to a team with quite a few high priced players.
They can have both as far as I'm concerned. Dubinsky is sorely overpaid and I'm not a Kreider fan as this board well knows.

5.1 cap hit I believe. Which is why sending Dubi the other way makes a lot of sense, not only from a "talent" standpoint, but from a financial standpoint as well.

To that deal I say hell ****ing yes, Christmas came early!

My exact sentiments. Him and Parise are my two favorite non-Ranger players.

HAHA. I agree.

If Sather undresses Murray like that, I'll go bonkers.

Dubinsky, Valentenko, Thomas and a 1st.

I am impressed he knows who Valentenko is. But in all honesty, for a team in need of a defensive d-man he would be a good addition. They need someone to develop and he blocks a lot of shots. IMO he could be a #5/6 right now.

Murray also did Beauchemain for Gardiner and Lupul. I wouldn't be surprised to Sather fleece him.

According to John Boruk of our sister station CSN Philly a trade for Bobby Ryan appears to be imminent.

Boruk says that the Rangers appear to be the front runners and that a deal “could” be done by the end of the week.

Well things just heated up a little bit. The Ducks play at 10 tonight against Montreal so if Ryan is held out, we will know something is up.

If that's the deal, I'm on board with it. I love Dubi, but if he's the only roster player we have to trade to get Ryan, and we don't have to give up any of our top 3 prospects, I'll be very happy.

If you think he has all the talent of other elite playmakers but only lacks consistency, there is no point even debating further. You are so far off base it's not even funny.

I've never been a fan of his drafting at all, and his signings have been iffy, but Sather can trade like a mother ****er.

I would love it if we could get Ryan for Dubi, a **** prospect who sucks so much that we waived him (and went unclaimed), and something else there and a pick. Holy crap.

Sather is known for stealing trades and Murry is the opposite. But before I get even more excited who is this Boruk and the other guy? Are they legit? Because if he ends up no being dealt to the Rangers I will be let down.
