They have but there are some rumours that he will get canned. And I'd much appreciate that.

I may check out one or more "Füchse" games this season, when I'm down south.

What do think, how good are the Füchse?

I don't know if it's just Kassel. Did anyone see the DEG - Hannover game on Premiere? It looked choppy and crappy to me. Boring, in fact.

Still, I too am wondering how long MacParland will stick.

Wow, Dave King got a game misconduct against Augsburg

The ref must be pretty bad to get someone like King to complain like this. Normally you won't hear a word from him during the game.

That's like Lothar Matthäus giving no comments about the German national team or Paul Breitner actually saying something that's not totally wrong...

Heatley is in Switzerland now.

Park to Hannover? Doesn't Hannover already have enough players to fill a whole team for every division!?

I saw that like 4:40 into the first period, Ingolstadt was already up 5-0 on Wolfsburg. Yikes...

Lastly, is there some kind of rule in place for the DEL right now? I know that the SEL isn't allowing any new imports until November 1st, so I was wondering if the DEL was doing something similar.

I have to say I'm disappointed with my team the Scorpions.
Ok, I didn't even expect them to fight for a playoff berth but they are even worse than the awful team I had to watch last year.
The defense is still horrible and the forwards are afraid to shoot.
Only Augusta, Öberg (injured unfortunately) and Morcinietz are fun to watch.
It doesn't help that our number one goalie Kauhanen is hurt, Künast really disappointed, he was really bad the last three games.

The only thing that doesn't make this totally horrible that at least Germans are getting icetime.

Some shoudn't be playing in the DEL though like Schopper.
God, he was so awful yesterday

I'm afraid they'll have a hard time. The game that Hannover won in Dusseldorf a few weekends back was shown on Premiere and it was disgusting. It looked terrible and although the Augusta line was effective, it doesn't role over the opponents. Unfortunately, Wilson and Frylen have looked no better than last season and honestly - although having some nice moments, Soccio is not going to do much in the long run with Dolak and Abstreiter. Park would help immensely. Immensely! He's the type of guy who has the speed and cunning to excel on European ice, as he displayed in the last WC in the Czech Republic. That'd be a coup. Otherwise, they need Cisar to come in soon and be at least what he was in Nuremberg.

It's great that Köppchen and Röthke and Juhasz get ice time, but Künast is nothing special and the returning players have not given more than they gave in the miserable season last year, with the exception of the aforementioned Augusta, who has been amazing! Öberg would be fine, but isn't the fastest. At least Morczinietz has new life here.

Probably at the next derby...between the BSchC and the Polar Bears Juniors. But i hope, there will be no incidents between both fan-groups!!
At the last derby in Hohenschönhausen(3.10.) there has been some very bad situations....i want ice-hockey without violence

I almost feared that such situations might occur.

I was searching the web for anything along the lines of schedules (location, time), lineups or some other infos about the Junior Polar Bear, but haven't found anything up to this point of time. Can you or anybody else give me a link or an address?

During the next few weeks I'm planning to see one or two Eisbären games, but also wanted to have a look at some young prospects. I've never been to a DEL game that's why.

If you want to watch a DEL-game, then you should go to the Polear Bears, but you are also welcome in Charlottenburg.
What about a game in the Deutschlandhalle???But it would be only the Oberliga....

Didn´t attend the game (choose a concert...but with the defeat i´m might have been gone better to Mannheim. Could have been fun to watch the "Erfolgsfans" cry...).

From what i´ve read:
Bad defence and a mediocre Huet (Huet played the other games really tremendously, so it´s okay for him to have a off-night).

Krefeld fought and the Defense of Mannheim didn´t help Huet a lot.

Now Hecht and Kelly miss the next game, because of the Game misconducts they got.

Quote:
S. Kelly Adler Mannheim Behinderung 2 33:48
S. Kelly Adler Mannheim Disziplinarstrafe 10 33:48

2:3 Adler Mannheim J. Hecht D. Edgerton - J. Podollan 36:40 EQ

J. Hecht Adler Mannheim Unnötige Härte 5 36:40
J. Hecht Adler Mannheim Unnötige Härte 20 36:40
S. Wright Krefeld Pinguine Stock-Check 2 36:40
S. Wright Krefeld Pinguine Unnötige Härte 5 36:40
S. Wright Krefeld Pinguine Unnötige Härte 20 36:40

2:4 Krefeld Pinguine S. King A. Selivanov - D. Kunce 39:06 EQ

S. Kelly Adler Mannheim Disziplinarstrafe 20 40:00
Surely looks interesting
Kelly getting two misconducts and therefore a game misconduct and Hecht getting in a fight directly after having scored a goal.

Player numbers... the pictures I've seen of Mikhail Nemirovsky of Hannover, he wears 42, though all websites say that he wears 51. Which does he wear?

Also, is Vasiljevs still wearing 22 for Nürnberg? I thought I saw that he was wearing 32 the other day but I wasn't sure if it was a typo.

Ouch, Mannheim loses the fourth homegame in a row. Letting in a goal 30 seconds before the end, to lose 3-4 after leading 3-0

Next game will be against my hometeam. Mannheim is missing Ullmann and Pyka who will have to serve their one-game suspension, while Hamburg is without three defensemen. The Freezers are now down to four real defensemen and a 19 year old rookie, who is more a forward than a defender...

There may be some good players on the market, after Hannover suspended three players and Jan Benda has left his team.
