I always thought it was the same price if not a bit more expensive to brew your own. Knowing my personality, it would be another rabbit hole hobby for my money to go away...not that I spent all morning reading about golf clubs or anything.

Just got off work and having one of these. Good stuff. It's kind of weird drinking good beer out of a tallboy.

Is it bad that I've spent damn near $200 on Surly Wet already this year? Pretty much cleared out every store around me. It's got to the point where I'm contemplating some sort of Surly beer can Christmas tree for the garage with the empties...

Missed that but I LOVE that stuff. I took those to a Pedal Pub full of beer snobs.

TP, what's Wet like? Can't recall if I've had it.

Anyone else had Fulton Fallen Apple? GF picked some up and it's great. Like a Snakebite. Not as sweet as cider.

Besides spotted cow, does anyone have some suggestions on some good New Glarus beer?

I'm just glad they are canning Wet and I don't have to make a treasure map of places that serve it. Looking at you Darkness.

Just read this article in Pioneer Press regarding a new Surly brewery:

Indeed is only a block away from where I work but I still haven't made it there yet. I've heard good things from co-workers though. Anyone been there?

No but I know they're going to have bombers of Libertine in stores in like 2-3 weeks. And it's not going to be contracted so it won't be as bad as when you get Sweet Child of Vine in stores...

So... I'll see you at Darkness days (and headbanging to their heavy metal selection)?

I went there once shortly after they opened. It was solid and I had whatever their IPA selection was called. Nice place as is, we'll see where they go from here.

Been working on one of these:

Fall sampler though. Instead of Summertime it's Autumn Ale.

Most decent liquor stores should have it. Look in the microbrew/craft section maybe. I've seen it at Surdyks too.

Visited the Ale Jail this week. You hipsters would love it. Employee was actually drinking a beer there. Only local and craft beers pretty much.

I got some Surly Fest (solid, if a bit flat out of the can) and a bunch of random beers. Also some Kombucha.

They had Wet but I didn't want to drop $16. Maybe next time.

I think I picked it up at the MGM by Lake Calhoun in Uptown, as Jarick said though it could probably be found at most places with a decent selection.

Oh Torpedo is awesome. They have it on tap at Valley Tap in Apple Valley...2 for 1 from 4-7 every day.
