I think the Giants match up well with SF, it was just a terrible execution from the Giants today and Smith outplayed Eli. That said the 49ers are the second best team in the NFC and I'm interested to see if they can compete with Green Bay. Don't think they can but who knows.

I still have GB a entire step above SF but as a fan I won't count them out...would be a major upset though..if it even gets to that.
Smith didn't outplay Eli. That's crazy talk. The two defenses are VASTLY different.
Our TDs had to be perfect throws, Smith's TD, well, I don't know what happened there, but, well, it wasn't good.
Giants went to the well too many times with playing from behind. On the plus side, all of their games look the same whether they're playing good teams or crappy teams, so the upcoming schedule isn't that much of a disaster.
The Niners speed up front is pretty impressive, I can't remember any screens or gimmick "bubble screens" ran by the Giants in that game, which is pretty much a rarity. They love their little 2 yard passes to Nicks and Manningham.
Eli played very well. Made some sick throws against tight coverage. The 2nd turnover was a real killer though, and the difference.
Funny though that everyone in the NY media said that you had to make Smith beat you to beat the Niners. He didn't look out of place on the field with Eli at all today.
Giants are a tough matchup for the Niners. That showed today. That's why this win was big for any tiebreaker scenario.

How about us being out coached by the Niners staff?
Eli played great today, converted on several 4th downs.

I think it's pretty much true, it's just our coverage in the middle of the field is an abortion. If the pass rush doesn't get home there's alot to take there. Especially with Boley out because there's no one else on the team that can play Nickel/Dime MLB.
****, Rolle might be the closest thing to that position out of everyone else.
Eagles up 35 to 3 at the end of three and they'll make history again - being the only team in NFL history to ever LOSE points in a game and end up losing 31 to 28
Truth PFP? And I will see you in a week to get on you some more about the word subpar.
It was a good game for both teams, which it always ends up being some how. Now on to being happy again..................WOOOOOOOOOOT 8-1 49ers **** YA!!!!!!!!!!!!]
Edit: I am going to start thinking of a banner or pic that will have your name, subpar, and 49ers/giants logos.

That team I inherited on the HFFFL, he was pretty much the only bright spot.
Still I may finally eek a win out, though have some decisions to make, I have an RB and WR slot to fill with:
LT
Plax
Michael Jenkins
BenJarvus Green-Ellis (flag, 10 yards for too many tames)
Right now it's Plax and Green-Ellis
I think it was a bruise for Gore, which is kind of sad if it was the reason for him not playing the rest of the game. Let's just call it a lower body injury.
I knew I should have put in the 49ers D over the Ravens D.
