Hammer may have just said what many are afraid to say. Still, lets see who tries to nail him and make Hammer look the fool. Now I am thinking its going to be Orlov. Probably, no one tries.

Not too long ago, wasn't hitting Gretzky considered reserved for but one Harvard graduate? I dont remember anyone talking about it but it was easy to see. No one hit 99.

Sure s1d is not quite 99, but he is canada's guy. Of course 99 wouldnt hit a fly and played clean, so its not a fully fair comparison, just more something I thought of. It appears with all the rule changes, there is much more respect among players.

(Or it could be the other way). You never know with the Pens.

Fixed it. 4 of those goals will come with Sarge on the PK but he will be on the ice for an even strength tally by Chimera.

Quick question. If its blacked out in DC why isn't it blacked out in Pennsylvania?

Why would it be blacked out? The only way it's blacked out is if you end up getting it on your local CSN channel instead of NHL Network. Even though it's the same broadcast. And blackout rules don't apply to local markets away games. Fans are only punished when they don't sell enough tickets for home games.

If you are getting blacked out it's because it's on a channel thats available from your provider that you don't have access to.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Orlov, not because it's Crosby but just because Orlov seems to like to make big hits. With the last change though DH probably won't let him see too much time against 87.

Good luck tonight Caps fans. I hope a game with this much hype and the combination of a new coach can get Ovi going again.

This guy is one of the most exciting players in the NHL and it's not right to see him struggling like this. Let's hope he can break out.

K.I.S.S. Put Carlzner against Crosby as much as possible.

It's gonna take some time to know how hard to push on the fore check without giving up an odd-man break. Like the speed at which they're pursuing the puck so far.

Not great quality and a slight delay, but Caps feed nonetheless. I'll see if I can find any more.

They look a lot more tactically sound but still having to many chances for Pitt.
