Pens keeping us in our own zone, nothing new.

Shall we start a tank thread? This team is emotionally shot, a mental mess. I am starting to rethink my former patience with McPhee. The coaching change should have been made in the offseason.

Ovechkin has to have 5 or 6 hits already and several quality chances. Need everyone to play at that same speed. Get the puck in deep and control it.

Thats what 5 hits already for Ovi? Good O-zone pressure there too from the first line. Hope to see more of that.

well, this is an ovi we havent seen in some time, thats for sure. its just a shame basically no one can do anything to get the puck setup in the O zone so ovi can channel this energy into scoring as well as leaving his jersey stain all over the white jerseys.

This is EXACTLY why firing him was warranted. You think once he's gone he has no role in this? The team has no confidence now, and having to learn a new system to boot.

What the hell is Eakin doing?

Can someone explain to me why not only Laich and Halpern are on the first PK line but why Laich is taking the faceoff?

Schultz is too ****ing slow, the puck right behind the net and he takes his sweet time to go get it and ends up getting pressured and can't get it out.
