I'm glad that they booted the whole coaching staff!

Changes!

F-Bomb Boudreau....not sure about this... but like I said changes were needed and we got one now.

Hopefully this means no stupid trades in plan...

Boudreau will be great working with the Ducks younger players, I've never seen a coach who gets young players to transition to the NHL as smoothly as Bruce does. The Ducks are in a way doing a rebuild on the fly so it seems like a decent fit.

So goodbye to Parros or any enforcer playing, this guy is Guy Charron who loves soft wimpy hockey. This season of misery continues and Bob Murray still has a job. Carlyle will be hired soon and I hope he sticks it to this disgrace of a organization

I like what I'm hearing, considering the young talent we have.

Carlyle's time was up. Thanks for the Cup .

I am

It means Bobby stays most likely, and Sbisa will be unleashed.

Yeah a Stanley cup winner who likes aggressive hockey gets fired for a goofball who likes finesse Euro hockey and you like what you hear? This is bad for the team
He seems to do really great were his soft heartless team gets ousted every year early

So many mixed feelings. Only solid thought is that I can't wait until Friday.

Good luck Boudreau, and best of luck Carlyle. We owe you so much, regardless of the bad times.

I want to start by saying I think Carlyle is a great coach. Now saying that, he was not a good coach for this lineup that Bob Murray has given him.

It is Murray's fault but the easiest way to fix the problem was getting a coach that would work with this team. As apposed to selling off players and getting a team to work with Carlyle's system.

MY WISHES HAVE BEEN ANSWERED!!!!! THANK YOU. NOW FOR CHRISTMAS A NEW GM

Not too worried about losing Carlyle, he's a great coach but something had to give.

Hate the fact we hired Boudreau though. He's had some powerhouse teams the past few years but could never get out of the second round. He'll be a good band-aid and we should go on a tear sometime soon but his effectiveness will wear off fast IMO.

Finness Euro hockey in that he benched his floating euro captain after he was upset that the coach tried to get the entire team to play two way hockey? Do you watch hockey, at all?

Sbisa unleashed? His offensive instincts are Beauchemin caliber. He has 2 goals in around 150 games.

Hell, he never looked good until he was LEASHED.

wow you're basing HBO show on his entire coaching ability? He was trying to change the Caps system, guess you forgot how they got hot after that series eh?

He's an offensive coach and look at all the young players in WASH that thrived under him.

Carlyle LOST THE TEAM it's so easy to see it

In Boudreau's defense, he only could coach what the GM gave him to work with. Boudreau didn't draft the Euro's and soft/heartless players as you put it. I truly believe had McPhee had the balls in 2009 to send you guys Alzner + to get Pronger, the Caps would've won the cup that year instead of the Pens.

I don't think George Patton could get Semin to play like a bull or Green to be a defensive monster.

Now it's time to leave work at BB. They are different styles of coaches. Worse we were not going to be. Luck Bruce!
