Except they they are 22-2-1 at home... 500 on the road with a home record like that is fine with me. Not to mention most their remaining games are home games...

Id imagine Chicago would give a 1st if not more for Vokoun if we went that route.

Reality has struck for Toronto.

Avs are incredibly streaky.

Not if Nabokov or Harding are cheaper.

I don't get taking a first round from probably a legit playoff contender, especially with Vokoun.

We lose Vokoun for 25th or lower pick? Uh no.

I really wonder if GMGM is as high on Laich as the media or its just GMs around the league aren't idiots like the media and know he isn't great.

Really want Vermette... same point production on a lesser team, and better at face offs.

Anyone else watching the Wings go for the record? I so enjoy watching them play. What a hockey team!

There is a 100% chance that Ottawa and Florida play a 3 point game tonight.

Little ball of hate at it again. He just laid a hit on a Canadien at the end of the second period that resembled the Sami Salo hit.

4-1 Ottawa over Florida after 2.

Hopefully Toronto loses in Edmonton later on.

I told people, that Boudreau knows how to deal with Malkin, and it sure isn't making him make Laich look like a fool.

You start hitting Malkin and he gets butt hurt and can't play and shows off how bad of a center he is, can't play defensively or win face offs.

They should fire McPhee. I agree. But maybe we can try moving forward from there.

What other coaches with no professional experience do you recommend we try?

I did say I agree with you about McPhee. He's the rookie coach aficionado. My point is, with a new GM, maybe we can get a good coach and have some success that doesn't involve pining for 2008.

And my point is that many people, I'm assuming you included, thought moving forward meant firing BB and hiring Hunter.

I thought it meant firing BB and McPhee last June and hiring some other folks to run the team. What we got was more failure and a November BB firing, which yes, I was for under the circumstances. Hunter was not the guy I wanted. Of the available lot, I would've probably picked McTavish. But they didn't consult me.

So we got Hunter, and I have seen some good and some very bad in his coaching. As of right now, it sure doesn't seem to be working, but I do not want Boudreau back.

Am I shocked that he's got the Ducks rolling? No. But I've seen that movie before and as I recall, it ended in tears.

I still think McPhee sucks and should go, but I would prefer our next GM find a new vision for this team rather than reverting to the one that failed year after year in the postseason.

Many people wanted BB fired, don't know that "many" wanted Hunter to succeed him. Personally, I wanted BB gone in the off-season and threw out the name Paul MacLean.
