Who is Russia's #2 forward right now?

Making out Russia's #1 forward right now shouldn't be too hard these days. But how about their #2?

T this moment it has to be Kovy. Datsuyk and Ovechkin are capable to take that away from him any second tough. As of now, barring Ovechkin bounces back to his peak, i see no one challenging Malkin for spot #1.

Malkin. Kovalchuk is still in the race for the Cup, so he has to be better, right? (half )

Malkin is #1 no doubt about it

The way Kovalchuk has been playing this year, it's hard not to take him at # 2

That's interesting...

Also, the idea of Radulov even being in the same conversation as at least four of the other players mentioned (And probably Semin as well) is laughable.

LMAO at Kovalchuk being better than Datsyuk.

HF and the "...my memory only goes back two weeks..." is laughably stupid.

I hope someone bumps this halfway through next season for a really good laugh.

Right now? I'm both a huge fan of Kovy and Datsyuk, but I'd have to say that Datsyuk is still the better player right now but its getting close with Datsyuk aging and what not. OV clearly has fallen off from what he once was, so he's at the bottom of the list if we're speaking right now.

Datsyuk

Vote for Datsyuk, but i think Malkin = Datsyuk right now, so they share #1 forward place.
#2 Ovechkin=Kovalchuk=Semin

Kovalchuk's history of choking is forgotten once he gets a hot goalie.

Datsyuk is the most valuable forward in the league.

So Malkin is 2nd.

Actually Crosby is... Then Malkin, then Stamkos, then Giroux, then a few more until Datsyuk.

Kovalchuk easily. On his game, he dominates like only Crosby can.

Add a few more names to that list and combine their defensive skill and it might come close to Datsyuk's.

I swear I still don't get what the deal is with the hard-on this board has for Stamkos. A great offensive player? Yes, and yet he's still as one-way as Ovechkin he just hasn't had a slump like Ovy.

Crosby and Datsyuk are the two top forwards in the league. Then, at this point, Giroux and Malkin are right behind them.

And to be honest, Toews' name should be up pretty high as well.
