The hit didn't. But the forearm to the head did. And then the gloved punch.

Agree about Kopecky. As I said in the other thread, I don't know what he did to be so lucky in hockey. And to get away with slashes and jabs at Quick when the puck was clearly covered.

i agree anyone who watched the game tonight, i think that was the most exciting game between opposing conference teams ive seen play this season.

It had the intensity of a playoff game from what i saw.

Quick is just too awesome

Doughty was Kings best offensive player tonight, generated so many chances and hada goal robbed off him by Jose

Murrays system deserves some credit. A game where you are outworked for nearly all the game, you lose your best defensive dman early, you spend like 20 minutes in the box, you lose arguably your best defensive forward, and you still win due to the system

Oh and Fraser really turned that 2nd period around with that fight, good job

Does Murray change his mind for Saturday? Does he stay with Quick or play Bernier?

Saturday afternoon, might as well start Bernier since the Kings won't show up anyways.

Had to break from my post to close the GDT, but yeah. Mitchell is a devastating loss. He is our best defenseman right now. Not easy, especially if we have to kep adding more rookies into prominent roles. Gotta keep our fingers crossed for our guys, and trust in our medical staff.

If Richards and Mitchell are out for a while it's time for the kids to step up. That means you Voynov and Loktionov.

Doughty looked better today, not getting the bounces it seems, but when he does watch out!

Why are you trolling this thread with that one statement someone made in the heat of the moment?

Yeah, I would have wanted Berg to fight but, I don't think the hit was penalty worthy. The punching got annoying.

But Kopecky should have gotten something. Almost ridiculous he didn't. Complete lack off protecting the goalies from the refs.

It's a lot of fun to have a goalie like Quick on this team. What a goalie.

I wasn't really upset with the Bergenheim hit (other than Richards was hurt) but the forearm to Richards face at the end of that shift was bush league. The punch later on against Greene too. If you want to stick up for yourself, do so, but don't do it cowardly.

Kopecky, on the other hand, deserved a two hander across the ankles for the slashing/spearing against Quick. Refs were letting those two clowns get away with a lot.

Great games from Brown and Quick.

Loving Brown on the LW!! But something gotta be done about Hunter....

Praying Richards is okay. Mitchell as well.

That had to be the WORST refereeing in a game I've seen in a long time! Absolutely horrible!! Kopecky committed about 100 penalty's by himself!

Bergenheim is a gutless coward!
