"A very nice night in the Metroplex"? Has Ralph been inside all day?

I can honestly say that is the first Vincour slapshot I have ever seen.

Raycroft makes me feel very uncomfortable, he just looks really bad out there and I have a bad feeling there will be some softies on the way.

Vincour actually looked good on that last shift. A couple good shots, and he finally seemed to have some confidence in his shot.

I said it before and i'll say it again, Raycroft relies more on aggressiveness then his reflexes

Absolutely he does. Its obvious. That first goal was partly caused by his over-aggressiveness.

It's hard to believe that players like Tavares and Robidas can co-exist in the same league. Not even fair.

Ugly period. We're not playing good enough defense, they're entering our zone too much. Luckily we still have 40 minutes and are outshooting them.

So far so good.

Fistric tried to set the tone but the rest of team doesn't seem to want to follow. Islanders have had so much time and space in the offensive zone it's absurd.

I still see us winning this game, but what's going on with Benn's line. They can't score anymore, it's frustrating the hell out of me. They generate so many chances but can't finish

Ya they need to step up the physical play and checking. Islanders are soft as ****, they'll fall apart with some solid checks.

Dipietro looks like he's going to fall apart any minute and need to go to the hospital if we take enough shots

Really? Awful? He's already done 1 thing tonight that's made me laugh at how uncannily good it was. Is he playing at the top of his defensive game? No. Can he be harder on the puck? Yeah.

Good start then once they scored, we played like crap from there on.

Come on Stars.

I was going to phrase it just as "bad", but with his talent and potential(that we've already seen), I upgraded the term to "awful".
