No leaf is going to bang in front of Thomas's net to screen shots...why not use orr????

He was praised last year by posters here for not taking dumb penalties and keeping Schenn from getting roughed up having to fight..

Now we have Dupuis..i mean WTF???

We're already without Brown, Komisarek and Armstrong. Now it looks like Wilson is going to sit Orr, Rosehill and Aulie...

We're going into the lion's den, the home rink of the toughest team in the league, and our brilliant coach has decided not to dress anybody who can push back when they ramp up the physical play.

I mean, it's not as if Boston is a team that will take advantage of the situation and try to intimidate an opponent who can't fight back. No, they would never do that now, would they...

Looks like it will be up to Dion and Luke to do the heavy lifting. Great! That will play right into their hands.

Wilson is playing with fire here. I just hope we get out of this game without any of our top players getting hurt.

Just win. I don't care how.

And I've been saying this for the past three games we've already played against them.

They have had our number this year but the last game, we stayed with them for 2 periods and if we can get a full 60 minutes this game, we have a good chance of beating them.

Solid goal tending and even refereeing, should give us a shot, not to mention having Phil, fill the net.

Why is Dupuis playing and Orr not???

Last year Orr was praised on this site for his big hits, fights, and sticking up for his team mates. Not to mention Schenn did not have to fight the teams battles anymore..

This year 2 games in he Scores a goal...

Exactly with Brown out and Army out is Orr not playing???

You know the game is going to get physical tonight...

We lost the majority of battles for puck control on the boards last game and we can expect more mucking in front of our net again....

So do we let Schenn or our Captain have to fight or defend our space against Lucic, Thorton, Macquid???

Dupuis does nothing, no goals not physical so why use him at all???

We've been playing pretty good as of late.

Just keep up the effort, no brain farts, no boneheaded decisions by our D and no dumb penalties and we should have this one.

go leafs go!

the last game wasn't really physical yet they still beat us. Maybe there's something else other than the physicality that's leading to us losing? have you thought of that?

Stay out of the box and they'll have an even chance to win.

i really don't like the idea of no orr with brown being out of the line up. i mean, boston is the only team we need to dress him against.

the only way this will work is if everyone can stay out of the box, after whistle scrums and not play into the bruins style. the leafs did better last time, but personally i don't think they're disciplined enough to pull this off against the bruins.

I love the optimism in this thread, go Leafs.

I stand by my assertion that the Leafs need to go old-school if they want to beat the Bruins tonight.

Colton Orr should be playing.

Colton Orr is not the answer Maybe...just maybe it has something to do with not taking dumb penalties and playing only part of the game instead of the full 60 minutes.

Leafs cannot out tough the Bruins, so why even try to go down that road?

Rope-a-dope them.
