I much prefer Rosehill in the lineup over Orr. Let's not have a short memory and forget how last Wednesdays game was played.

It was fast-paced, quick puck movement and skating. There was like 80 shots. We played our game, and Boston had to keep up. Rosey or Orr will play 5-7 minutes. I'd rather have Rosehlll skating and finishing every check out there. Plus, he can throw them if need be and he's more than willing. Ideally, moving forward its Crabb-Steckel-Brown/Armstrong depending. But a game like tonight, and all things considered, Rosehill over Orr for me.

Aulie is more mobile than Franson

Don't confuse offence with speed

I don't really think it matters who starts as long as we continue to be soft on them, especially in our zone. Reimer, Gus, Scrivens, who cares, the team needs to play better and beat Tim Thomas, and it would help if Kessel showed up instead of cowering away from the play

I doubt that.. he didn't look good out there at all.. must be jet lag, Franson played better than him.

The only reason I think Aulie was in it because Franson just didn't battle out there the previous game against Boston. He didn't clear the crease, and was easily pushed around for his size.

The game against Anaheim he played great and should have played the one against Boston too.

The difference there is negligible.

Franson is smarter offensively though, and has the skills to back it up.

Aulie pinches at the worst times. I had a huge face palm when he crashed into Thomas last game.

Aulie is slower than molasses.

Fransons' skating is good-great. Especially for a big man.

no, the difference there is pretty huge.

Very much disagree.

Add into that the fact that Aulie continuously puts the team in danger by going deep into the offensive zone and getting back WAY too late, and I'd easily take Franson in the lineup over him. Especially since Franson can actually make a difference offensively, what the heck is Aulie even going to do in the offensive zone?

Exactly. I like Aulie but he needs to regain his form from last year. Franson is a better skater, if he wasn't he wouldn't be with Nashville very long...you can't score nearly 30 points with that height and size if your skating is terrible.

Franson can at least help out in the offense. Right now Aulie isn't doing what he's asked for defensively and took a terrible goaltender interference penalty. He should be no where near there as a defensive defenseman unless he sees an open net.

Aulie is very far from a good skater and to mobility starts and ends with skating is ridiculous. The ability to move the puck is just as if not more important to the mobility of the team. That's something that Aulie has done very poorly all through this season.

This isn't an opinion, it's just a plain fact - Aulie is an excellent skater, and Franson is a very poor one.

Franson has an edge in some areas on Aulie, but skating clearly isn't one of them.

Are you serious? I assume you are, but it's an opinion of yours, not even close to a fact. He's terribly immobile, and Franson ain't much better, but neither are mobile nor good skaters. I don't know what games you're watching

You're making it sound like there is a big difference in their skating. Excellent to poor is a pretty sizable margin, and it simply doesn't exist between them. I can concede that Aulie is a superior skater, but he's most certainly not excellent, and I'd put Franson in the same category.

All hail the return of Optimus Reim!

But really good to have him back in net. Now the team has to pull it together.

The key either way is for Wilson to keep the defensive pairings together. Guys have certain pairings that work for them, don't go moving things around just because there is some pressure.

And yeah Colborne on the fourth line is just sad. Find him a spot in the top 9 or send him down.
