GDT27; The Jarome Conspiracy "Flaming C: Smoking Gun". EDM/CGY.

On the night of of October 18th, 2009, a black SUV was seen leaving a posh downtown apartment in the city of Calgary. Amid the autumn haze, various stories have since come out, putting one Jarome Iginla in the passenger seat. The mystery and controversy on this day is profound.

Conspiracy theorist Alex Smithey has collected over 700 pages of documentation in regards to this event, including journals, documents, reports and pie charts. The story isn't why Iginla was in the passenger seat, because that's usually where he is in October, but why he was in the passenger seat wearing a hat.

Gail Gailington from York University tells us the significance of such events. "He was wearing a hat", said Dr. Gailington with a look of distress. The whereabouts of the hat remain hidden in a cloud of mystery. In our current state of general societal tension and sensitivity towards such issues, there is a certain amount of fear in regards to what this means. There have been similar events linked both directly and indirectly to this case, but only those who dig deep and look through the lens with a suspicious heart may see where the truth lies.

This is bigger than hip hop! Dead Prez is awesome. I'd love to see Smid with another bomb from the blue line tonight!

I just want the Oilers to beat Calgary. although it would be nice to have a 9-2 type score and really rub their faces in it.

I'm putting all my vcash on the Oilers.

The Flames have absolutely owned us in the last several seasons. If ever there was a game to make a statement, it is tonight.

I was at the game last night and my only complaint would be the line matching. We have the top scoring line in the NHL, let the other team worry about us. Lets be proactive instead of always reactive!

That said, I think we douse the flames with an 7 spot.
7-1 Oilers.

Their luck against us has to run out.

If they carry the play over from the third period, they should win easily. The Flames defense is very young and suspect.

I'm not sure what to expect tonight. I'm just hoping for an Oiler win.

Go Oilers!

Hemsky needs to have another three periods like his 3rd period last night. I would love to see him crush Glencross the way he destroyed Tyutin.

If Glencross goes near Nugent-Hopkins again, Tom better send Hordichuk out there.

It's HNIC

RNH with 8 points, Oilers win 7-0.

No, I did not make a typo. He'll get 8 points on 7 goals. That's just how good he is.

BTW, Ladislav smid = 2 goals.

Our bottom six forwards - Sam Gagner + Eric Belanger + Magnus Pajaarvi + Anton Lander + Lennart Petrell + Ben Eager + Darcy Hordichuk = 2 goals.

Feaster was pretty funny yesterday but I would hate to have him as the guy leading a rebuild. He's not a hockey guy, he's just a lawyer. Good luck with him Calgary.

Time for the boys to prove the last 2 years against the Flames is a thing of the past. Oilers win 3-1.

Hilarious GDT!

Whitney had a better game last night, sure he is not 100% recovered as he seems to be still off balance on his skates. I am kind of concern about how this would affect his performance tonight with the back to back due to fatigue on his injured leg.

MPS gets off the snide this game. I expect a big game from the boys. HNIC!

6-2 Oilers

edit: strange, still haven't gotten my vcash payout from the game last night. Would've been back over 500 working my way up from 50. Fixed.

Oiler fans: "Yo Calgary, you guys should start rebuilding. We were exactly in the spot you guys are in, trust us we know."
Calgary fans: "LOL last place Oilerz tell mighty Flames to rebuild, go tank more losers."
Oiler fans: "Just watch..."
Calgary fans: "You guys are idiots."
Hefty Flames freefall insues, RNH lights up the league.
Calgary fans: "Omg guys we need to rebuild!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Oiler fans: "LOL"

Can't tell you how many threads on this and other forums where the Flames denied that they have a problem. Told you so suckers!

Hope Hordi tunes up Glenncross and the Oilers continue to keep throwing solid hits.

This is a winnable game against a lesser opponent that would mean a lot to the team in the standings and for the pride of the fans.

...And this is the type of game that the Oilers always seem to lose.

Please win. With this team, you never know who will show up. One game they're contenders, other game they look like a lottery team. Please be consistent! Hoping for a big win, and the only thing in our way is kipper and glenX, because he always lights us up.

I don't know why it is but the Flames usually bring out there 'A' game out against the Oilers.

I don't care how the Oil get it done, I just hope they come out with a regulation win tonight against this unpredicatable Flames team!

Break the slump Sam

I would love to see Hemsky or MPS pick it up a notch as well. P.S. if Hopkins could pot 2 points that would be great too (first Oiler ever to win the Calder Trophy).
10-2 Oil
