I'd love to see a video montage of Lindy calling hits a "joke" during his postgame news conferences. It could probably be 2-3 minutes long, lol

Regardless of the aftermath of Tootoo claiming "the last thing I want to do is run a goalie" (don't buy it), he still did it, and to me, clearly had an opportunity to remove himself from the situation. Hell, crash into the net, cut in front of Miller. I don't know, it definitely wasn't as intentional and menacing as Lucic, but he ran him, and his sordid past should be enough to question his post-game statements.

The Lindy post-interview will be on wgr550 vault at some point.

ha, the Lindy interview sounds like the same interview he gave after Darcy Tucker hit Jochen Hecht knee to knee and put Hecht out for a couple of weeks.

Someone should auto-tune the two interviews into a song of sorts.

Vogl's got a bit on twitter. Seems to be a lot like the Tucker-Hecht rant.

haha the Ruff interview is pretty funny. It's only about a minute long. He starts off calm and by the end he is fuming and he storms off.

Shanny's going to have fun with this one. It wasn't nearly as bad as the Lucic hit, but still, the fact it's Tootoo combined with the oh-so-convenient timing of Miller's first game back means the league looks stupid. They're probably going to over punish Tootoo when they should have punished Lucic in the first place.

Only thing is Tootoo got ejected. Lucic didn't. I don't expect a suspension from Shanny. He'll decide the ejection was enough...as it should be.

That's what I figure will happen too.

If Tootoo wasn't a common goon he could have put the NHL in a prediciment here, because this hit was nowhere near as dirty as the Lucic trash. As it is, he's going to get a suspension, and it might be a long one.

Miller's "jabs" were hilarious. It's become a rite of passage for opposing teams to hit Miller. They know the Sabres have no response.

I'm pretty sure the entire team piling on Tootoo within seconds, and openly threatening the opponent's goaltender is a response.

They certainly did more than just "tugging sweaters," four guys, including Miller, jumped him and were throwing punches like crazy. Not sure what else you expect them to do.

Tootoo attempting to plank Miller. Just trying to one-up Kesler, I guess.

I agree with you. But what can you do, some posters don't see the facts, they see what they want to see based in an existing prejudice they had before the game even started. It's not the first and won't be the last.
