Good game last night guys. I still don't like your new system, liked you better when you were the most exciting and offensive team in the league.

Having watched Karlsson, what is your honest opinion about him?

he's good. other than his toe-pick that led to the gwg (blame the infamous phone booth ice) he was incredibly solid all night. he's a keeper.

What do you expect, Andrea Bocelli concert the night before and Georgetown basketball game on same day that ended 4 hours before puck was dropped.

Kid has serious wheels and a bomb of a shot. Bright future as long as the Senators build the team / system right. Otherwise he'll be gone by the time his next deal is done. That's just a product of FA more than anything else.

So we going to start voting for Chimera for the all-star game?

If the team isn't a complete joke about competing or rewarding those who earned it he stays. He's been better than either Schultz or Hamrlik defensively let alone offensively, and Erskine plays that angry mother****** role that pumps everyone up and no one else can really fill. We're starving for PMDs and he's our only real left handed one right now, and hasn't shown any major defensive deficiencies at this level. Should be a no brainer.

GMGM seems to have an interesting track record of getting vets to address a specific need who are then pushed out from within quickly. Nylander got Backstrom'd, Theo got Varlamov'd, Corvo got Carlson'd and now Hamrlik is getting Orlov'd.
