That'll work. Backstrom's come to play.

Hell of a shot by Nickey there. If OV won't get his head out of his ass I sure wish Nickey would seize the opportunity to make this team his.

Backstrom > Ovechkin.
He can do it all.

Did Joe B do it again? That sure could be an interesting drinking game.

It is amazing how we can't get out of our own zone and start a rush

Mojo is really good and mature for his age, and he has so much potential.
Can't believe so many people on here want to trade him.

Good to see Alzner and Carlson out there with the top line. Hated seeing Hamrlik out there with them consistently.

It was nice to see forwards crossing while enters the zone. That was about the most sophisticated goal w have scored in a long time.

I liked what coach Johnson said in the interview. Defenders need to get back to the puck quicker so they have time to make a play.

You have got to wonder if the fact that our guys are having so much trouble staying on their skates is a conditioning issue. Even strong guys like OV and Backstrom.

Georgetown played a game this afternoon. Wouldn't that explain the poor footing more than conditioning this early in the game?

Backstrom having problems staying on his skates?

He is one of the strongest to take the puck from in this league

I like our zone entry strategy on the PP, we are in position to set it up but then somebody inevitably fumbles it. Unbelievable.

I'm starting to love Jim Johnson. He actually coaches on the bench and talks about making adjustments and corrections. No more "Well, uh, he just, uh, needs to work harder."
