I'm almost afraid to watch. I really loffed when Kovalchuk was credited with only three turnovers last night.

Don't need your permission, thanks.

Just for once, I'd like to see a game where he doesn't turnover the puck that leads to an odd man rush the other way.

You know how Clarkson made so many wrap around attempts that we now call any such attempt a Clarkaround?

So when Kovalchuk makes a giveaway should it be a "Kovalway" or a "Giveachuck"?

I don't know why, but I got a laugh out of the phrase "Kovy folk".

I'd consider myself one of them as well, but I can admit he's been making some idiotic decisions with the puck. The frustrating thing is he's actually a really good passer. He just needs to stop forcing things.

After last night I'd like to see Sal handing out sticks.

No one can receive his passes. That's another huge problem. He's just not a great fit for the rest of the team, he needs to play on his own with a Gomez type. A Gomez type would be deadly for him.

I just don't get why the lineup hasn't been shaken up. The forwards. The defense. I want a nice in between of line juggling and keeping the lines fixed.

I don't know if it is just depth but some things clearly don't work.

Just keep him in Manitoba. I like guys like Salvador, they're battlers, but, the injury is too much. I liked him before it though.

Lou put his chips on the worst bet. One-eyed Whitey would have been better. But no crying in the breast milk as Patches O'Houlahan says.

A Gomez type, huh?

You mean we have to go scouting out players in Alaska now?

I don't want bingoball, but Kovy on the RW? Volch and Salvador pair? How long does it take to notice they aren't working?

That's on the coaches. I mean, Parise and Kovalchuk are bad together, but it reached three stooges levels of terribleness yesterday where they decided to run into each other.

Actually, that should be RG's next project. Kovy is Curly, Zach is Larry and Henrique is Moe because he's the one that usually gets stuck in the middle of Curly and Larry.

No, but separate what doesn't work. Even the PZS line isn't working anymore. Just try a new wrinkle for a bit.

Agreed and that is clearly PDB you would think after this many games its not working. Some spurts of things working but not enough.

I still feel we'd be complaining about a Volchenkov - White pairing and how bad White is with the puck. Salvador's reaction timing is so brutal. He is seemingly a step behind the play most of the time.

So many holes.
