Thank God this is Chris Kreiders last season with Jerry York. This coach is holding him back. Kreider need Torts to get his game to the next level. Torts will challenge him to take the pill to the net and with his speed still get back to apply the correct back pressure.
And? Fowler may never be as good, McI may never be skilled enough to make the NHL, Tara may have had a higher chance of coming over if he was drafted by us. Why does one may sound better than another may? This is the same stupid speculative overanalyzing jumping the gun Fowler vs McI debate we see constantly only now it's framed against the backdrop of MDZ doing well (who btw is only human and can only play one defensive pairing) oh and btw people love to forget it's also McI vs there was a whole draft still to go including Forbort, Bjugstad, Coyle, Kuznetsov, Etem if im not mistaken. Can't stand this stupid discussion showing up in this thread every month. Mods let these people make a freakin Fowler vs McI vs whoever thread and sticky it please!!!!
I dunno about this spoiled daddy's boy stuff. At what 20 friggin years old he wants to stay with his family and friends in his country of origin playing the game he loves for millions of dollars? Imo this is a case of entitled Americans thinking they somehow deserve every great player that ever lived. If he doesn't want to play in a foreign land and opts instead to stay home and make his millions playing a game that makes him a normal human being. I just think it's a pretty unrealistic take on that situation to call him a spoiled daddy's boy for being a rational normal human being
I don't care about Tarasenko or Fowler. Not in the least.

This goes on because of all the abuse the Rangers brass received for the pick. When the consensus was it was a bad pick you weren't trying to censure the discussion. Now that the pick is looking more rationale you want the discussion to end. Who appears stupid here?
Who appears stupid here? You do! Of course I didn't have any problem with seeing it when it FIRST HAPPENNED because it had JUST HAPPENNED nobody had ever discussed it before do you really not understand the difference between then and now? If anybody has anything new thats great but nobody has anything to add its just the same old rehash thats why its infuriating. The fact that you just called me stupid and left me to explain something so elementary to you is just... amazing.
And Dumoulin has looked awful this season in the games I've watched. No denying his talent though.
Jonny Gaudreau also rang one off the post on a simple redirect pass from Kreider. He's such an intelligent player. Even his dump-ins are calculated.
Cross is at least putting the puck near the goal, the rest of BC's defensemen look like they're blind in the offensive zone.
Kreider looks bored (or maybe he's frustrated) every few shifts. He lets his teammates jostle along the boards for ten seconds, then comes in, shoulders a player and comes out with the puck. It's amazing.
Yogan's tear continues with 2 more goals tonight. That's 13 goals in his last 16 games.
After a slow start, he's now up to a PPG for the year - and 13-12-25, or over 1.3PPG, in his last 19 games. He has size, skill and isn't afraid to go to the corners or the front of the net. Get that kid an ELC.
