He plays such a limited amount, it won't be a big deal once he makes a return. I don't even see who he takes out of the lineup at this point.

White's hustle and effort could take any guy out of the lineup...that being said, it will a Darche or Leblanc that sits, but could be anyone, like Cammy,Gio etc

Guys like White also make the guys in the lineup more confident...he is a great team, character type of guy...

Yah it's strange because you didn't read.

AK, Cammy ect ect, even travis moen production all disappeared into a black hole when paired with Gomez, even gionta for chirst sake had good production without gomer.

Are there any negatives about this team, or are we simply the cream of the crop?

There's a 10000000 to whine about on this forum. This literally probably the only useful thread, I hate sifting through the posts to actually find info on injured players, which is what this is meant for.

Ummm his name was mentioned, but he wasn't the main topic. Relax there Andrew.

You were wrong. Next time read the posts.

Here's another one you missed last page

Any way you slice it Gomez is overpaid...we all know that. But IMO 60 points would be acceptable if he was able to hit that mark. His current (this season and last) pace of 35-40 points is not acceptable though. Especially when you consider how his poor play has in the past impacted his linemates.
and another

When "bad luck" is just another excuse for a bad player i dont know. Is it bad luck at 10 games? 50 games? two seasons? At this point i think we should start realizing this might just be who Gomez is now. If he regains form, great, i will be too happy to admit im wrong. However nothing of last year or the beginning of this year tells me he is capable of regaining 50-60 point form.

But yah, you looked back teh last 2 pages and didn't see anything about Gomez.

I agree about not crapping on Gomez in this thread, so I'm actually just asking about his status (I do want him back). Did he re-injure another part of his body this last time (seems that way)? Sorry if it was specified, but what's his timeline for return given the supposed injury?

It's not the amount he plays but the energy he brings in those shifts that is needed right now.

If Emelin sits, I will freak!

I checked the season hits leaders, and IF he had played every game, he'd probably be in second place right now! That's amazing! JM, don't be an idiot. For once, plz!

Diaz scored last night and Martin loves soft players who have no special skill, so expect Diaz in instead of Emelin tomorrow if Campoli is back.

Campoli can wait......
Unless Kaberle is not playing because he has some business to settle in Carolina.

Gill is the one who should sit once in a while.

Gionta is injured.

So expect Martin to dress 7 d-men.

Leblanc will possibly be promoted to the 3rd line and A.K. or Moen on the 2nd.

Gionta missing tomorrow's game

Who the hell was whining? Chill out. I'm probably the lone Gomez non-hater on this board.

If he's out that long there wouldn't be anything in that contract that could make it null and void would there?

I don't think so, but if he is placed on IR for a really long time I don't think he counts against the cap
