Goalie pad help. Breaking them in.

Hey,

I was wondering if anyone could help answer some questions about the new goalie pads I received.

I have a set of Sherwood GL Cerberus pads that I'm looking to break in, but the hitch is I'm nowhere near ice at the moment, or in the near future. What's a good way to break them in, that they don't feel so insanely stiff?

Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

For one, strap 'em on and do some carpet slides. When not in use, store them upside down and even with a little bit of weight on them.
