I saw Lassila last year at the Preds-Jackets rookie games, and he looked very poised. He posted some great numbers in the Finnish league. I also have him a keeper league

Finley reminds me of Dunham Jr. I think Lassila is our future.

I Think you're right he's a close copy of Dunham and that's why I'll say Finley

Lassila, and it doesn't take much thought, for me. His goaltending instructor is the same one that worked with Kiprusoff, and I think Lassila could be another Kipper-esque keeper. Finley...as mentioned...reminds me of Mike Dunham, and I don't really think that's a good thing, because we had enough problems with inconsistent goaltending our first five years.

I still have hopes for Finley, but Lassila could very well be the better of the two. Personally, I have only seen Finley play a few times, and never seen Lassila....However from what I have heard, Lassila has really stepped it up, whereas Finley is just now revving up his engines after all the seasons lost to injury .

You're partly right that was one side of Dunham ... the other side was the keeper that allowed the Preds to stay in the game for several years. A big guy that made a difference behind a team that didn't have much else to offer

It has been said here before, but chances are Finley will be given the keys of the franchise (ala Dunham), and Lassila will end up the better goaltender with a greater impact (ala Vokoun).

I think like Clockwork Walrus mentionnnned Finley willl be given the first chance to shine, but in the end Lassilla will prove to be the better goalie

I say Finley, mainly because I don't want to chalk that first round pick we gave for him up as a total loss. Time will tell, but if either one turns out to be a good NHLer I'll be happy.
