Ya, we need to score more than that to win. We had a ton of good chances, but didn't get the bounces yesterday.

Go ahead, we'll be ok with that because we don't take it as serious as you guys. We do it to have fun and the players understand that. Most of us weren't hexing Moose because we don't like him, we do that to every goalie. Again, just like Doan, we gave Moose an ovation, but you guys don't see that because it happens during the tv timeout. Sure we have our fanatics who literally hate some players, but you get that with every fanbase. The vast majority of us are at a giant party and everyone is invited, Jets fan or no.

On a side-note, as primarily a Rangers fan, it's not very fun watching you guys struggle like this. I hope you guys turn it around soon. I miss hating to play the Devils!

Several people, myself included were not happy with how we played in those games that we won, but we were considered by some as people who 'complained about moving up in the standings'

We haven't played well since before the Boston game but for whatever reason winning automatically excused bad play in those games

Needless to say, I'm not surpsied we've lost 4 in a row, we barely squeaked out those 2 wins.....playing like we did in those games as well as the couple before, it was only a matter of time before we got beat up unless we picked things up - which still has yet to be seen

That's how slumps start. You win games you don't think you should be winning and then eventually you start losing. Usually, an OT loss is thrown in for a point, but we didn't even get that because of FLA

Sometimes it feels like the better we play the worse it ends.

Not sure why, but it`s crazy.

I said this early in the 1st GDT vs. WPG. They haven't put together a complete 60 minute effort since late October in L.A. when they won 3-0.

Are we still on the mentality of don't break up the old men, but the ZIP line needs to go?

I wouldn't mind breaking them up just to try something new. The team needs a little bit of a shakeup.

Parise-Elias-Sykora
Kovalchuk-Henrique-Zubrus

I don't think the 07 team was that good. Marty carried that team. 08 was even worse. 09 was probably the best team we had since the lockout, and arguably since our last cup. We almost had three 30 goal scorers in 08-09.

I hope the coaches aren't. That line hasn't scored in 3 or 4 games, correct?

Something like that. I don't mind the line staying together though.

I just think it's funny that some people want to break up the Kovy line.

The Kovy line seems to be heating up offensively, but they still need to figure out the defense. I really don't know what to do with the lines right now because you don't want to break up the Kovy/Parise line now that they are finally starting to produce. But they are also getting torn up by the other team, so I'm stumped.

I still think Kovalchuk, and Parise would score more GOALS if they were broken up. I'm sure when Zajac returns though it will be Zach, Kovy, and Zajac on a line together.

Maybe we should make a trade to St Louis, and get some ZZ Pops going?

Just kidding

Wouldn't mind swapping Sykora with either Kovy or Teddy.

i think it's time we break up the geezer line. time for a change. they're not clicking like they were earlier in the season. maybe later on in the season they can reunite if the changed lines don't work. but for now it must go. hasn't deboer said he isn't going to break them up? probably before we went on this four game losing streak though.

i agree. we're not getting a break and it seems like all the breaks go the other teams way. i.e. the third winnipeg goal.

what would be wrong with these lines?

parise-henrique-sykora
kovalchuk-elias-zubrus
tedenby-carter-clarkson
boutlon-sesito-who knows

you could switch sykora and zubrus too and that could possibly work.

Deboer says he'll break up the lines after a few bad games. Whats a few bad games? When we're like 12-20-1?

I'd like to keep Sykora with Elias. Other than that I don't care what they do but I think something should be done unless they enjoy losing streaks and not scoring.

that would be ok but then would we have a kovalchuk-elias-sykora line? i am not too crazy about that.
