I also like the Hairy Monk - game 7 of the SCF I was planning on watching the game there but it was a complete zoo so I headed home instead.

I'll be at the Bruin vsi Islander game on the 31st. All Bruin fans should meet somewhere.

Yeah we had thought about that earlier, sounds good to me

When the time gets closer, someone should either bump this or make a new thread and well figure it out

I essentially grew up in Time Square (when it was really, really seedy...LOL). Been to dozens of Rangers, Islanders and Devils games....but I've also been to a ton of B's games in Boston.

Even though I am not a Boston native, I've been lucky to see some amazing games. Here are some of my personal all-time highlights....

1) Game 4 Stanley Cup, last year
2) My first game at Boston Garden (back in 1991)
3) Bruins/Habs Playoff Game 2 in 2009
4) Neely's 50th goal (in 44 games)
5) First Game at new Fleeet (almost Shawmut) Center

When I went to Long Island for a B's game there were more B's jersey's than Islanders. They can't ALL have driven down for the game??

Yea the giveaway has now ended. However the devils are making that game on the 4th a college night. Good tix for 20 bucks. Even better ones for 40 including a 10 dollar food voucher.

Lived in the East Village last year--practically lived in Standings on E 7th during the Cup run. Moving back down to the area again, this time somewhere in New Jersey since I landed a job in Jersey City. Great to know the champs are well-represented down there.

anyone going to the game in the ghetto on jan 4?
there is no worse city the boys will play in than Newark.
i'll be wearing the 80's throwback starter jacket, no hood. good luck to all.

Devils fans have turned into trash that can't handle their liquor.

When I was at the game on the 19th of November, I sat next to a guy with his kid. I told him how I was going to school on Long Island and from Worcester, and he said he was born in Quincy and moved down to Long Island for work, and that he's talked to a lot of other Bruins fans with similar stories over the years. Bruins Nation is very much alive in the NYC area.

Just out of curiosity, what's the crowd like in Jersey? I'll be down there and I'm considering going to the game on the 4th. I just really don't want to spend half the game dealing with people.

Brooklyn NY here, B's fan since the late 70's. I will be at the Bruins Ranger games here I believe in March n April. I have a good feeling those tickets will be in the Xmas Stocking. Wether its Bruins n Devils here in Jersey, or LI at the Colosseum against the Isles, been there done that.
Also have made the trip up to Boston quite a few times to catch a game starting at 7PM and back in NYC for work the next day.

I'm also from RI, and went to last years last regular season game between the B's/Islanders. Met a ton of B's fans who drove from MA. Tickets cost us $11, split a tank of gas between 5 people....was cheaper than going to a game at the garden. Will be doing the same for the 3/31 game. Look for a big group tailgating before the game.

New Jersey crowd is fine. Just mind you're business, cheer hard for our Bruins and have a good time. If you go out with that smirk on you're face like u want shi! than you'll get it, and that's anywhere..

Have fun at the game. I was thinking of going as there were plenty of good seats still available but it aint happening so Ill be watching from home.

Yes I suppose you could say that .. Tickets to NJ Devil games are not difficult to get at all, compared to New York Ranger tickets on this side of the Hudson, which sell out immediately regardless of who is in town.

Go B's Go
I have no problem getting those at the box office. Single B's tickets for the Sunday game in March were still available a couple of days ago.

I figured a bar where it'd be convenient for most people. The only hockey-focused bar I know is the Flying Puck next to the MSG. Where do people usually go to watch games? It's Saturday so I'm flexible. Just think it'd be more fun to watch with other fans.
